José Carlos Rebelo da Silva, a Portuguese expert fromthe Guangzhou Laboratory, remarked that it was the most impressive and truly spectacular performance he had ever seen. He noted that the joint performance by Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao demonstrated the unique charm of cultural integration.

From deep-sea energy development to the precise control of drones, the technological highlights featured in the opening ceremony reflect Guangzhou's innovation prowess. French expert Kamel Meguellati, who is deeply involved in cutting-edge interdisciplinary research, stated that Guangzhou's international platform and top-tier scientific research conditions were decisive factors in his choice to settle here.

In recent years, Guangzhou has implemented a series of pilot policies for services targeting foreign talents, facilitating the recruitment of over 4,500 professionals for key industries. According to official statistics, the number of foreign talents working in Guangzhou has grown by more than 50% over the past five years, with the total number ranking among the top three nationwide.

Professor Francois Gitzhofer, a French expert and Chief Scientist at the Institute of New Materials, Guangdong Academy of Sciences, expressed that the experience was fantastic and the performance absolutely magnificent. The opening ceremony immersed the foreign experts in the unique charm of Guangzhou, where technology and culture seamlessly converge. Guangzhou's high-quality living and working experience has earned it a spot among the top three in the "Amazing China – The Most Attractive Chinese Cities in the Eyes of Foreign Talents" ranking.

全运启幕，穗韵流芳——外国专家“看到”的广州创新之光

11月9日晚，广州奥体中心灯火如昼，第十五届全运会开幕式《圆梦未来》惊艳绽放。广州实验室的葡萄牙籍专家JOSÉ CARLOS REBELO DA SILVA感慨道：“这是我看过的最惊喜的一场演出，真的非常壮观！粤港澳联袂演出展现了文化融合的独特魅力。”
