On November 7th, the cross-boundary ambulance transfer service between Zhuhai and Hong Kong was officially launched. This marks Zhuhai as the only city on the Chinese mainland to establish cross-boundary ambulance transfer services with both Hong Kong and Macao, adding a remarkable chapter to the coordinated development of medical rescue across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

On September 17th this year, John Lee, the chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, announced the extension of the cross-boundary ambulance transfer arrangements with the governments of Guangdong and Macao in an orderly manner, including expansion to cover designated hospitals in Zhuhai and Nansha. This laid the foundation for establishing the Hong Kong-Zhuhai cross-boundary ambulance transfer mechanism. After thorough preparations, a full-chain coordination system has been successfully established, covering ambulance dispatch coordination and efficient customs clearance.

With the pre-registration of information, real-time notification, and expedited approval procedures, personnel and ambulances can go through customs via a "green channel for life", realizing non-stop passage throughout the process and priority emergency access. This greatly shortens transfer and customs clearance time, providing patients with a faster and smoother transfer experience while gaining valuable time for treatment. The system further strengthens the safety network for emergency medical rescue.

珠海成为中国唯一跨境医疗救援双枢纽城市

11月7日，珠海与香港救护车跨境转运服务正式启动。此举标志着珠海成为全国唯一同时与香港、澳门开通救护车跨境转运服务的内地城市，为粤港澳大湾区医疗救援协同发展写下浓墨重彩的一笔。

今年9月17日，香港特区行政长官李家超明确提出“联同粤澳政府扩展救护车跨境转运安排，纳入珠海及南沙指定医院”，为建立珠港救护车跨境转运机制奠定了基础。经过前期周密筹备，成功搭建起覆盖救护车调度衔接、便利通关的全链条协作机制。

通过信息提前备案、实时通报、快速审批，人员和救护车在口岸通关时通过“生命绿色通道”实现全程不下车、紧急优先通行，大幅压缩通关和转运时间，既为患者提供了高效便捷的转运体验，更为救治赢得了宝贵时间，进一步织密紧急医疗救援安全防线。
