The 15th National Games, jointly hosted by Guangdong Province and the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions, features "green" as its core philosophy and adheres to the principle of "no new large-scale venue construction". In the Guangdong division, over 90% of the 75 competition venues are renovated from existing facilities, thereby reducing resource consumption and carbon emissions at source.

As a key renovation project, the Tianhe Sports Center in Guangzhou has become China's first near-zero-carbon stadium. Guided by the principles of "passive priority" and "active optimization", the project uses external solar shading, natural daylighting and ventilation, high-efficiency air-conditioning, and LED lighting to systematically lower energy consumption. A centralized energy-carbon management platform is used for monitoring. In addition, the Center's parking lot is equipped with a distributed photovoltaic system of 2,400 square meters, generating 560,000 kilowatt-hours annually, covering more than 20% of its daily electricity use and supporting a sustainable use after the Games.

The Guangdong Olympic Sports Center, which will host the opening ceremony, has been renovated into a sports park that will serve the events during the Games and the public after the Games. After renovation, it adds 39,000 square meters of green space, opens its second floor as a public fitness platform, and turns its outdoor square into a sports park. It features China's first AI-powered smart fitness trail spanning three kilometers and offering personalized exercise services via face recognition.

The Longhua Cultural and Sports Center in Shenzhen is operated to three-star green building standards, with a photovoltaic energy storage system generating 400,000 kilowatt-hours annually, high-efficiency heat pump dehumidifiers for the swimming pool, and a "sponge city" system. Meanwhile, Shenzhen advances the "zero-waste hotel" initiative to promote green accommodation.

The green practices of the Games are not only embodied in venues, but also in city operations. Through measures such as photovoltaic power generation, smart fitness trails, and green buildings, the event aims to raise the green level of the cities' infrastructure and deliver "green benefits to the people", leaving a sustainable urban legacy for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

第十五届全国运动会由广东、香港、澳门三地合办，以“绿色”为核心理念，坚持“不新建大型场馆”原则。广东赛区75个比赛场馆中，超90%为原有场馆升级改造，从源头减少资源消耗与碳排放。

广州天河体育中心作为改造重点，打造全国首个近零碳体育场。项目遵循“被动优先”与“主动优化”原则，通过外遮阳、自然采光通风及高效空调、LED照明等系统降低能耗，并依托能碳管理平台实现集中监控。此外，场馆停车场安装2400平方米分布式光伏系统，年发电量56万度，满足日常用电20%以上，赛后可持续使用。

承办开幕式的广东奥林匹克体育中心，打造“赛时服务比赛、赛后服务百姓”的体育公园。改造后新增3.9万平方米绿化，开放二层为全民健身平台，室外广场变身体育公园，引入全国首条3公里AI智慧步道，通过人脸识别提供个性化健身服务。

深圳龙华文体中心按三星级绿色建筑标准运营，光伏储能系统年发电40万度，泳池采用高效除湿热泵，并建设海绵城市系统。同时，深圳推进“无废酒店”建设，倡导绿色住宿理念。

本届全运会的绿色实践不仅限于场馆，更延伸至城市运行，旨在通过光伏发电、智慧步道、绿色建筑等举措提升城市基础设施绿色水平，实现“绿色惠民”，为粤港澳大湾区留下可持续发展的城市遗产。
