On November 4th, the presentation of the programme of the "1st Chinese Culture Performances Season" was held in Macao, announcing that the first performance season will take place from November 2025 to March 2026. This event, which was developed from the "National Art Troupes Performance Season in Macao," focuses on presenting the excellence of national stage productions and multicultural experiences, creating an arts celebration that spans both theaters and communities.

The Season brings together prestigious troupes such as the China National Peking Opera Company, Beijing People's Art Theatre, and the China National Opera House. They will present a variety of forms including Peking opera, drama, and dance drama. The China National Peking Opera Company, led by renowned Peking Opera artists Yu Kuizhi and Li Shengsu, will perform "A Meeting of Heroes, Invoking the East Wind, and The Huarong Pass" alongside the classic "The Legend of the White Snake." Beijing People's Art Theatre will present an immersive drama, "Farewell My Concubine," written by Nobel Prize laureate Mo Yan, which explores timeless themes through a dialogue across time between the characters Consort Yu (Yu Ji) and Empress Lü (Lü Zhi). The dance drama "Mulan," directed by Zhou Liya and Han Zhen, blends traditional and contemporary elements to showcase Eastern aesthetics.

The event will not be limited to theaters but will extend to communities and schools. The China National Opera House will visit schools in January 2026 to hold vocal concerts, while the Chinese Coal Mine Art Troupe will stage community performances on the fifth and sixth days of the Chinese New Year. The entire Season comprises 8 performances of 4 outstanding productions, 8 sessions of exchange performances, and approximately 50 extension activities, building a cultural platform for public participation.

Guided by the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture of the Macao SAR Government and organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, this Season is co-organized by the Department of Publicity and Culture of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macao SAR. Concurrently, the 5th Zhuhai Arts Festival is underway, featuring a Zhuhai-Hong Kong-Macao performing arts section, forming a connection with the "Chinese Culture Performances Season" and laying the groundwork for cultural exchange in the Greater Bay Area.

首届“中华文化演出季”将于2025年11月在澳门启幕

11月4日，“中华文化演出季”节目巡礼在澳门举行，宣告首届演出季将于2025年11月至2026年3月举办。该活动由原“国家艺术院团（澳门）演出季”升级而来，以国家级艺术精品与多元文化体验为核心，打造覆盖剧场与社区的艺术盛事。

演出季汇聚国家京剧院、北京人民艺术剧院、中央歌剧院等重量级院团，呈现京剧、话剧、舞剧等多种形式。国家京剧院将由于魁智、李胜素领衔，献演《群英会、借东风、华容道》与经典《白蛇传》；北京人艺带来莫言编剧的沉浸式话剧《霸王别姬》，通过虞姬与吕雉的时空对话探讨永恒命题；周莉亚、韩真执导的舞剧《花木兰》则融合传统与现代元素，展现东方美学。

活动不仅限于剧场，更延伸至社区与校园。中央歌剧院将于2026年1月走进学校，举办声乐作品音乐会；中国煤矿文工团在农历正月初五至初六开展社区新春演出。本届演出季除了带来4个精品剧目共8场演出，亦设有8场交流演出及约50场延伸活动，构建全民参与的文化平台。

本届演出季由澳门特别行政区政府社会文化司指导，澳门特别行政区文化局主办，中央人民政府驻澳门特别行政区联络办公室宣传文化部协办。同期，第五届珠海艺术节正在进行，设有珠港澳文艺展演板块，与“中华文化演出季”形成呼应，为湾区文化交流奠定基础。
