On the morning of October 23rd, the Shantou International Convention and Exhibition Center became the global focal point for the toy industry as the 24th Shantou · Chenghai International Toys and Gifts Fair officially opened. The event attracted over 4,000 brands and buyers from 53 countries and regions, coming together to witness the industrial spectacle of "The Toy Capital is Igniting the Globe."

This year's fair has reached new heights in scale, with an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters and over 250,000 products on display. The event adopted the "One Fair, Four Shows" model, showcasing toy industry IP, parts and accessories, toy machinery, and stationery and supplies, creating a comprehensive and one-stop platform for cooperation and trading. It fully demonstrates the industrial strength of China's Toy Capital." Representatives from Thailand's Charoen Pokphand Group and international buyers from the United States, Mexico, and other countries, as well as domestic buyers, have signed agreements with local suppliers, with a total intended agreement value of 15.8 billion yuan.

In the global toy industry landscape, Shantou Chenghai has become one of the brightest "industrial stars." Despite covering less than 400 square kilometers, the region produces over 50% of China's plastic toys and about one-third of the world's supply. It is the largest and most well-equipped production and trade base for the toy industry in China, with the highest market share. Currently, the annual output value of Shantou's toy industry exceeds 52 billion yuan, with products sold to more than 150 countries and regions worldwide.

10月23日上午，汕头国际会展中心成为了全球玩具行业的焦点——第24届汕头·澄海国际玩具礼品博览会（以下简称“玩博会”）在此拉开帷幕，吸引来自全球53个国家和地区超4000家品牌和采购商齐聚，共同见证“玩具之都，燃动全球”的产业盛况。

据悉，本届玩博会的规模创历史新高，展馆面积达10万平方米，展出产品超25万款，并以“一会四展”模式融合玩具产业IP展、配套配件展、玩具机械展和文具用品展等板块，打造“一站式”综合性合作交易平台，全面展现“中国玩具礼品之都”的产业实力。泰国正大集团及来自美国、墨西哥等国外采购商代表，协欣、世纪美迪等国内采购商代表分别与本地供应商代表签订协议，总意向协议金额达到158亿元。

在全球玩具产业版图中，汕头澄海已然是最耀眼的“产业明星”之一——不足400平方公里的土地生产了全国超50％、全球约三分之一的塑料玩具产品，是国内玩具产业配套最完善、规模最大、市场占有率最高的生产和贸易基地。目前，汕头玩具创意产业年产值已超过520亿元，产品销往全球150多个国家和地区。
