On October 4th, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province announced that preliminary estimates indicated that 4A-level and above tourist attractions in Guangdong received 15.17 million visitors from October 1st to 4th, the first four days of the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, marking a year-on-year increase of 4.9% on a comparable basis.

During the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, Guangdong is hosting a rich array of cultural activities, with public-benefit programs proving highly popular. Heyuan has held its second edition of Fish Lantern Night Parade, drawing 125,000 residents and tourists to gather along the Xinfeng River waterfront platform. Chaozhou has launched the first immersive intangible cultural heritage (ICH) stage play in eastern Guangdong, while Jieyang's ancient city has undergone restoration and upgrades to attract waves of visitors. In Meizhou, the capital of Hakka culture, the 2025 Meizhou Rice Wine Culture Week has linked its main and sub-venues, with a series of vibrant ICH activities.

Lingnan culture has not only gained popularity within China, but it is also shining overseas. At the invitation of the Chinese Embassy in Fiji, the Guangdong Federation of Literary and Art Circles organized the "Guangdong Folk Art Troupe". Led by artists and cultural workers in dance, martial arts, acrobatics, magic, puppetry, and Cantonese opera, the troupe recently traveled to Fiji to participate in the celebrations of the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Fiji, presenting a series of cultural exchange activities.

粤文旅精品“出圈”又“出海”！假期前四天广东4A级及以上景区迎客逾1500万人次

10月4日，记者从广东省文化和旅游厅获悉，据初步测算，今年国庆中秋假期前4天（10月1日-4日），广东省4A级及以上景区接待游客1516.8万人次，同比增长4.9%（按可比口径）。

国庆中秋长假期间，广东省内文化活动丰富多彩，惠民节目广受欢迎。河源举办“江湖渔火 太平夜市”第二届鱼灯夜游活动，12.5万名市民游客齐聚新丰江水道两岸观看。潮州推出粤东首部非遗沉浸式舞台剧，揭阳古城修缮升级、焕新引客，梅州“梅”好时光醉美客都——2025年梅州米香酒文化周系列活动主会场与分会场联动，各项非遗传承活动热闹非凡。

岭南文化不仅在本土掀起热潮，更跨越重洋绽放异彩。应中国驻斐济大使馆邀请，广东省文联组建“广东省民间艺术团”，率舞蹈、武术、杂技、魔术、木偶戏、粤剧等领域的艺术家、艺术工作者，日前赴斐济参加庆祝中华人民共和国成立76周年暨中斐建交50周年嘉年华，开展文化交流系列活动。
