City Life | In the heat of August, the South China Sea fishing season opened jubilantly. Seasonal fishing boats from across coastal Guangdong plowed through azure waves, delivering the ocean's freshest bounty to dinner tables. Guangdong thrives on the sea—its marine economy has topped China's rankings for 30 consecutive years. Behind these robust statistics lie the stellar seafood brands from its cities. Zhuhai Baijiao Sea Bass, Huizhou golden croakers, Yangjiang oysters, Zhanjiang prawns, Chaozhou amberjack... These delicacies are essential staples on every Guangdong dining table.
