In recent years, Guangdong has accelerated the implementation of the "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Project" to speed up the development of a modern rural industrial system. Moving forward, Guangdong will focus on cultivating two trillion-level industry clusters, including modern marine ranching and advanced agricultural product processing, as well as 10 hundred billion-level clusters such as grain, and 20 ten billion-level clusters such as tea.

In 2024, Guangdong's total output value of farming, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery reached 970.1 billion yuan, up 3.8% year-on-year. The value added of the primary sector ranked among the top in China, while the total value of agricultural imports and exports ranked first nationwide. Rural areas and farmers benefited significantly. In the same year, the per capita disposable income of rural residents in Guangdong reached 26,729 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.3%, which was 2.4 percentage points higher than that of urban residents. The ratio of per capita disposable income between urban and rural residents decreased to 2.31:1.

Guangdong has prioritized maritime development, establishing modern marine ranching and cultivating the sea for aquaculture to create a "blue granary". Reports show that since 2023, more than 50,000 mu (about 3,333 hectares) of coastal aquaculture facilities have been upgraded. Newly built facilities include 1,655 deep-water gravity cages, 12 truss-type cages and aquaculture platforms, and 2 aquaculture vessels. Guangdong ranks first in the country in total aquatic product output, marine fish farming output, marine fish fry output and shrimp fry output.

Looking ahead, Guangdong will continue to strengthen the construction of the modern marine ranching, vigorously advance deep-sea aquaculture bases, optimize seed industry innovation mechanisms, and gather global innovation resources to create a "Nanfan (a breeding base in China) Silicon Valley" for marine seed industry. The province will also establish China's first high-tech industrial innovation zone for fisheries and accelerate the development of intelligent, unmanned and remotely controlled marine ranches in the future.

海洋牧场+农产品加工双万亿！广东推进“百千万工程”再提速

近年来，广东加力提速推进“百千万工程”，加快现代乡村产业体系。下一步，广东将着力培育现代化海洋牧场和农产品精深加工2个万亿级、粮食等10个千亿级和茶叶等20个百亿级产业集群。

2024年，广东农林牧渔业总产值9701亿元，同比增长3.8%；全省第一产业增加值居全国前列，农产品进出口总值全国第一。农村、农民普遍受益。去年，广东农村居民人均可支配收入26729元，同比增长6.3%，比城镇居民高2.4个百分点，城乡居民人均可支配收入比值下降至2.31:1。

广东突出向海图强，建设现代化海洋牧场，耕海牧渔打造“蓝色粮仓”。报告显示，2023年以来推动近海养殖设施升级改造超5万亩；新建成重力式深水网箱1655个、桁架类网箱及养殖平台12个、养殖工船2艘。水产品总产量、海水鱼养殖产量、海水鱼苗产量、虾苗产量均居全国首位。

下一步，广东将抓好现代化海洋牧场建设。大力推进深远海养殖基地建设，不断优化种业创新机制，汇聚全球创新资源，打造海水种业“南繁硅谷”。创建全国首个渔业高新技术产业创新区，加快建设智慧化、无人化、远程控制的未来牧场。
