On a summer evening at Dashatou Wharf, the river breeze carried the sound of guitar strings and crowd sing-along across the Pearl River. A young band performed original songs on the stage of "020 Hz" Urban Music Camp, while the audience waved their cell phone flashlights along with the melody. Warm light of lanterns from a cultural and creative market and neon lights from passing pleasure boats complement each other.

In August 2023, Yuexiu District launched the "020 Hz"brand. Over the past three years, the project has employed an innovative "government-hosted + community co-creation + market-driven"model to connect 13 cultural landmarks. For example, at Huaguo Mountain (Flower and Fruit Mountain) XR virtual studio, audiences are "transported" into the Grand Banquet of Immortal Peaches of "Journey to the West", where an AI robot dog joins a workshop ofthe intangible cultural heritage"Qiqiao" (Qixi or Qiqiao, Chinese Valentine's Day).In the Yunshan Mall of Baiyun Mountain (5A-level scenic area), rock music is played on a mountain-based stage, alongside a festive market.Inside Beijing Road Yue Chao Lou Shopping Center, Cantonese opera blended with electronic music as Hanfu-clad youths danced to the avant-garde sound.

The charm of "020 Hz" lies in transforming the "auditory economy" into tangible financial income. At Dashatou Wharf, summer concerts transformed a traditionally slow tourist season. 30 performances boosted foot traffic by 20%, increased visitor dwell time by 30 minutes, and helped elevate Guangzhou's Pearl River cruise to the top of global urban cruise vitality rankings. The Xiaomi-sponsored concert at Lumina Guangzhou saw daily footfall surge by 826%, generating over one million yuan in sales, setting a new record for any national store. Meanwhile, the "Trend Music Feast" at Yue Chao Lou Shopping Center generated more than 200,000 online mentions, and its national-stylecultural and creative market became a form of "social currency"among Gen Z.
