The 15th National Games, the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympic Games (collectively referred to as the Games) will take place in Guangzhou this November. A recent visit to local tech firms revealed how technology is supporting the event, making communication smoother and the night more dazzling.

By tapping the "Accessibility Services" feature in the "Guangzhou·the National Games" mini program, users can summon a sign language interpreter in under three seconds. The tool instantly converts spoken language into sign language visuals, creating an accessible communication bridge for people with hearing impairments during the Games.

"The sign language interpretation mini program developed by Voibook has already been integrated into the mini program, and our accessibility system for government services, a sign language interpretation device, will be installed in selected hotels for athletes," said Shi Chengchuan, founder and CEO of Guangzhou Voibook Technology, who is hearing-impaired himself. "During the Games, anyone in need of sign language interpretation can call on remote volunteer interpreters with just one tap through either platform."

CroStars Innovation is the sole aerial display platform provider for the Guangzhou events of the Games. The company has already staged presentations in the sky for key moments, including the 500-day countdown, the one-year countdown, the 200-day countdown, and the "Guangzhou City Partner" campaign.

The company's latest-generation smart drone show system, C5, is expected to be used in upcoming drone shows during the Games. The C5 features box-style launch capability and requires only four people to deploy 1,000 drones. Its flight time has increased from 15 to 25 minutes, delivering even more impressive visual effects.

广州科技企业助力十五运会和残特奥会

今年11月，十五运会和残特奥会将在广州举行。记者近日探访广州科技企业，看到科技正为这场盛会助力——让交流更顺畅，让夜幕更精彩。

在“全运广州”小程序中点击“无障碍服务”，不到3秒即可召唤一名手语翻译，将语音实时转化为手语画面，为听障人士在十五运会和残特奥会期间搭建无障碍沟通的桥梁。

“目前，音书手语翻译小程序已接入‘全运广州’小程序，音书政务无障碍系统（手语翻译设备）将会部署到部分运动员入住酒店。”音书科技创始人兼CEO、听障人士石城川向记者介绍，十五运会和残特奥会期间，任何需要手语翻译服务的听障朋友，都可以通过这两个途径一键呼叫远程手语翻译志愿者。

千机科技是十五运会和残特奥会广州赛区唯一空中发布平台，已陆续完成了倒计时500天、倒计时一周年、倒计时200天以及“城市合伙人”主题发布等重要时刻的空中表达。

据了解，千机科技发布的全新一代智能无人机表演系统C5将有望运用到赛会后续无人机表演中。千机C5将使用箱式起飞，仅需4人就能轻松部署千台机器；续航时间由15分钟跃升至25分钟，视觉效果也更为震撼。
