According to statistics, Guangzhou Customs inspected and supervised a total of 2,818.6 tons of lychee exports in the first half of this year, marking a 17.6% year-on-year increase.

Conghua, Guangzhou, located along the Tropic of Cancer, is a major production area for late-maturing premium lychees in China, with a planting area of nearly 300,000 mu (49,395.5 acres). Wei Bangwen, production director of the Litchi Exposition Park of Guangzhou Conghua Hualong Fruit and Vegetable Company (Hualong Company), stated that the company has developed a data model tailored to harvesting needs. Guided by this model, each robot can pick 60 lychees per minute, harvesting nearly 500 kilograms per day.

Freshly picked lychees must be delivered to local processing plants within two hours. After packaging and boxing, they are swiftly loaded onto trucks and transported to airports or ports for shipment to overseas markets. Typically, lychees are harvested in the morning, packaged in the afternoon, and shipped abroad the same day.

"With support from Customs and other departments, our overseas markets have continued to expand. Our lychee products are now sold in over 20 countries and regions across Europe, America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. The number of lychee varieties exported has increased from one to five, significantly improving our business performance," said Liu Ruibo, Deputy General Manager of Hualong Company. "To accelerate lychee exports with preserved freshness, we independently developed an ultra-low-temperature dormancy technology. This allows frozen lychees to retain 95% of their original freshness and extends their shelf life to one year. It enables us to move from relying on seasonal harvests to year-round global sales, increasing growers' income by 2,500 yuan per ton."

据统计，今年上半年广州海关共检疫监管出口荔枝2818.6吨，同比增长17.6%。

位于北回归线上的广州从化是全国晚熟优质荔枝的重要产区，种植面积近30万亩。广州市从化华隆果菜保鲜有限公司（以下简称“华隆公司”）荔博园生产总监韦帮稳表示，该公司结合采收需求研发数据模型，单个机器人在数据模型指引下，每分钟可采摘荔枝60颗，每日可采摘荔枝近千斤。

从果园采摘下来的荔枝，需要在2个小时内运到当地加工厂，经过打包装箱等环节，迅速装车运往机场或码头，随即发往国外市场。基本上是当天上午采摘，下午打包出货销往国外市场。

“在海关等部门帮助下，我们的海外市场不断拓展，产品远销欧美、东南亚、中东等20多个国家和地区，出口荔枝种类也从原来的1种增至5种，企业效益大幅提升。为加速荔枝锁鲜出海，我们自主研发了荔枝超低温冻眠锁鲜技术。这项技术使果品冷冻后依然能保持鲜果水平的95%，同时延长保鲜时长达一年，实现从‘靠天吃饭到全年卖、卖全球’，带动果农每吨增收2500元。”华隆公司总经理刘锐波表示。
