On June 27th, the China Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka launched its highly anticipated Guangdong Week. Throughout the week, visitors are treated to vibrant displays of intangible cultural heritage and immersive exhibition design. The vigorous and majestic Yingge Dance from Puning dazzled the audience, while the elegant melodies of the Guangdong traditional "Five-Piece Band" lent a graceful touch. Marcello Martins, liaison officer of the Brazil Pavilion at the Osaka Expo, praised the performances and shared his memorable visit to Guangzhou, describing it as futuristic, with the Chaoshan-style beef hotpot leaving a lasting impression.

At the opening ceremony, Wu Shengreng, director of the China Pavilion, highlighted the strong economic ties between Guangdong and Japan. In 2024, trade between the two reached 440.4 billion yuan, accounting for one-fifth of the total trade volume between China and Japan. Chen Xiaofeng, president of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Guangdong Committee, stated that the province aims to present its new vision for green development from four key perspectives, including technological innovation and ecological advancement. Over 200 Guangdong enterprises are participating in the event, promoting cross-border cooperation in areas such as intelligent technology and biomedicine. Xue Jian, China's Consul General in Osaka, emphasized the deep-rooted cultural connections between Guangdong and Japan, citing language and cuisine as compelling examples.

A highlight of the event is the launch of the immersive "Green and Beautiful Guangdong" ecological showcase. At its heart lies a massive panoramic digital scroll animated with dynamic projection and interactive sensor technology, offering a breathtaking view of Guangdong's natural splendor. An ecological art installation titled "Bird Paradise," inspired by a renowned ecological landmark in the province, invites visitors into a serene and immersive experience.

Guangdong Week will run through June 30th. On June 28th and 29th, the China Pavilion will also feature a comprehensive display of Guangdong's strength in technological innovation.

大阪世博会中国馆进入“广东时间”

6月27日，2025年日本大阪世博会中国馆内，广东活动周启幕。活动周期间，非遗民俗与展陈设计亮点纷呈。普宁英歌舞气势豪迈，广东音乐“五架头”演奏温婉灵动，来自大阪世博会巴西馆的联络官Marcello Martins对表演赞不绝口，分享了广州之行的难忘体验，称其充满未来感，潮汕牛肉火锅令人回味。

开幕式上，大阪世博会中国馆馆长邬胜荣致辞指出，日本是广东重要经贸伙伴，2024年广东与日本进出口贸易额达4404亿元，占中日贸易总额的1/5 。广东省贸促会会长陈小锋表示，将从科技创新、生态建设等四个维度，展现广东绿色发展新图景。此次活动周，广东组织超200家企业参会，推动在智能科技、医药健康等领域的跨境产业链供应链合作。中国驻日本大阪总领事薛剑以语言、饮食为例，展现广东与日本人文交流渊源。

此外，“绿美广东”全景生态展项重磅推出。核心展区以巨幅全景数字长卷，结合动态投影与互动传感技术，展现广东生态之美；生态艺术装置“小鸟天堂”以广东著名生态地标为灵感，带来沉浸式体验。

广东活动周将持续至6月30日，6月28日 - 29日，中国馆还将全方位展示广东作为科技创新大省的硬核实力。
