On June 20th, Baiqiao Service Area in Guangdong marked its one-month anniversary since opening. Within just a month, it recorded over 270,000 vehicles and welcomed more than 1.43 million visitors, quickly becoming a new hotspot in Maoming, famously known as "China's Lychee Capital."

Baiqiao is Guangdong's first lychee-themed highway service area. Surrounded by lush lychee orchards stretching for tens of thousands of mu, it sits near major local attractions such as Gongyuan Orchard and the China Lychee Museum. Inside the service area, visitors can savor local delicacies like boji rice, Huazhou-style beef offal, and Genzi rice noodles, all proudly showcased in glass-fronted stalls. Lychee-flavored coffee at the Lychee Aroma Hall has proven especially popular with travelers, while over 20 creative lychee-flavored products, including lychee ice cream and sparkling beverages, are available in the convenience store, adding a unique taste to the stopover. Daily cultural events, such as pop-up performances, Cantonese opera shows, and intangible cultural heritage showcases, have turned the area into a lively cultural hub.

Meanwhile, 46 designated lychee sales booths have been set up across the service area for local farmers to sell their produce on-site. Leveraging a "livestream + in-store + e-commerce" model, the convenience store has partnered with other service areas and petrol stations across the province to boost lychee sales, helping sell over 10.5 kg of lychees so far.

广东柏桥服务区开通满月，引来143万人次打卡

6月20日，广东柏桥服务区迎来开通“满月”，首月总车流量突破27万车次，143万多人次到服务区打卡，成为“中国荔乡”茂名又一热门打卡点。

柏桥服务区是广东省首个荔枝文化主题服务区。服务区周边万亩荔林碧绿如海，临近贡园、中国荔枝博物馆等景区。服务区内，簸箕炊、化州牛杂、根子捞粉等茂名特色小吃摆满橱窗；荔香馆中的荔枝咖啡深受旅客欢迎；便利店售卖荔枝冰淇淋、荔枝味气泡饮等20多款创意产品，为旅客增添独特的风味体验。文艺快闪、粤剧表演、非遗手艺展示等在服务区接连上演，每天都热闹非凡。

同时，服务区设立46个荔枝展销点位，供果农现场销售。服务区的便利店还通过“直播+店销+电商”融合模式，联合省内多间服务区和加油站便利店为荔枝销售助力，带动销售荔枝超21万斤。
