In the early hours of June 15th, 2025, as Typhoon "Butterfly" swept through, torrential rain hit Zhonghe Village, Guizi Town, XinyiCity, Maoming, Guangdong. At around 4 a.m., a mountainside collapsed, devastating nearly half the village.
From June 17th to 18th, reporters from the Yangcheng Evening News went deep into the landslide-hit area and temporary resettlement sites for villagers, interviewing those who raced against the landslide. They reconstructed the life-and-death evacuation on that stormy night and documented post-disaster resettlement.
2025年6月15日凌晨，受台风“蝴蝶”影响，广东茂名信宜市贵子镇中和村大雨倾盆，凌晨4时，山体滑坡发生，近半个村庄遭受冲击。
6月17日至18日，羊城晚报记者深入滑坡事发地及村民临时安置点，对话那些与滑坡赛跑的人们，还原这场暴雨夜的生死转移，记录灾后的安置。
