The eastern extension of Haibin Road in Shantou was fully completed before May 1, forming a 27.5-kilometer coastal corridor along the inner bay and resolving a long-standing traffic bottleneck. Seen from above the Shantou Inner Bay, Haibin Road on the northern shore resembles a golden ribbon, closely linking the historical heritage of the old downtown with the development blueprint of the East Coastal New Town.
