At the 137th Canton Fair, a wide range of small commodities took center stage, with "Guangdong High-Quality Products" in the decoration and ceramics sections attracting large numbers of overseas buyers. Guangdong manufacturing stood out with its key features of "inclusiveness, refinement, and innovation," showcasing China's advancement into a new phase of aesthetic leadership in manufacturing.
With rising demand for ceramic products in Southeast Asia, Europe, and other regions, Guangdong's annual ceramic exports have exceeded 5 billion dollars, with sanitary ceramics and daily ceramics being the major contributors. Chaozhou, known as the "Porcelain Capital China," recorded ceramic export values exceeding 10 billion yuan in 2024. Anton, a buyer from Russia, noted that Chaozhou ceramics offers a wide variety of designs, large production capacity, and competitive pricing, with tens of thousands of new products showcased at each Canton Fair.
The refinement and innovation of Guangdong manufacturing are also reflected in the small commodities sector. Even a simple plastic ribbon can be crafted into various styles by Guangdong manufacturers. Lufeng Jintai Gifts, specializing in Christmas gifts for 30 years, has become a leading player in the industry with an annual sales revenue of 15 million dollars. At its booth, bead strings shimmered like amber, and decorative balls were meticulously categorized by color and style, all showcasing exquisite craftsmanship.
According to Chen Junyi, head of the company, Guangdong, as a hub of foreign trade, is highly responsive to international market demands and global trends, enabling flexible adjustments in product design and production. At this year's Canton Fair, Guangdong Baodayi Porcelain Co., Ltd. launched its " low-temperature porcelain bakeware," utilizing a unique mineral formula that embeds technology invisibly, upgrading functional tableware into kitchen art pieces that balance practicality with aesthetics.
Clara, a buyer from Brazil, marveled at the rich variety of "fashionable items" at the Canton Fair, saying they were irresistible. From Christmas decorative balls to the porcelain bakeware, the progress of Guangdong's manufacturing in aesthetics reflects the broader transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing. As China enters a new stage of "aesthetic leadership," regional cultural elements are increasingly integrated into global expressions, and products transcend mere functionality to become ambassadors of cultural dialogue.

广交会外商:“广东货在审美方面,确实很懂我们”
第137届广交会上,各类小商品集中亮相,尤其是装饰品、陶瓷展区的“广东优品”吸引大量外商。本届广交会上,广东制造以“包容、细腻、前沿”为关键词,彰显中国制造迈入审美引领新阶段。
随着东南亚、欧洲等地对陶瓷制品需求攀升,广东陶瓷年出口额超50亿美元,卫生陶瓷、日用陶瓷是出口主力。潮州作为“瓷都”,2024年陶瓷产品出口货值突破百亿元。俄罗斯客商安东表示,潮州瓷器样式多、产能大、价格低,每次广交会都有上万款新品。
广东制造的精细与创新还体现在小商品领域。一根塑料彩带,广东厂家也能做出花样;广东金泰专注圣诞礼品制造30年,以1500万美元年销售额成为行业领先者。其展位上,珠串透光如琥珀,彩球按颜色款式分类,尽显精致。
企业负责人陈君怡介绍,广东作为外贸圣地,能及时把握国际需求与潮流趋势,据此灵活调整产品设计生产。广东宝达亿陶瓷有限公司在本届广交会上推出的“温瓷烤盘”,运用独特矿物配方,将“科技隐形化”,使功能性餐具升级为厨房艺术品,兼顾实用与审美。
巴西客商Clara感叹广交会上“时尚单品”丰富多样,令人爱不释手。从圣诞彩球到温瓷烤盘,广东制造的审美进阶,正是中国制造转型升级的缩影。中国制造已进入“审美权争夺”新阶段,当地域文化融入全球化表达,产品超越实用价值,成为文明对话的使者。
