At 7:00 AM on February 23rd, the starting gun was fired for the 2025 Shenzhen-Hong Kong Marathon and the 15th National Games athletics (marathon) test event for the 15th National Games. The race covered a total distance of 42.195 kilometers, with 21.841 kilometers in Hong Kong and 20.354 kilometers in Shenzhen. Runners were treated to stunning urban views of Shenzhen's Nanshan District, Qianhai Free Trade Zone, and Hong Kong's Yuen Long District along the route.

The competition featured 16 female and 22 male athletes, all hailing from professional track and field teams across different provinces and municipalities, as well as representative teams from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. These athletes brought formidable skills to the race. As the first cross-regional marathon test event in the history of the National Games, every moment of this race was highly significant.

全运史上首个跨越两地的马拉松测试赛开跑

2月23日上午7时，2025深港马拉松赛暨第十五届全国运动会田径（马拉松）测试赛鸣枪开跑。赛事全程42.195公里，其中香港段21.841公里、深圳段20.354公里，选手沿途可饱览深圳南山区、前海自贸区及香港元朗区的城市风光。

此次比赛参赛运动员女16人、男22人，他们均来自不同省市专业田径队及粤港澳三地的代表队，实力强劲。作为全运会历史上首个跨越两地的马拉松测试赛，赛事的每一刻都意义非凡。
