Staff from the Taishan Cultural Tourism Group explained that the exoskeleton robot is not limited to Mount Tai climbing. It has a wide range of applications, covering activities such as hiking, fitness, running, daily walking, and going up and down stairs. So, this versatile device can be applied across various aspects of life and work.
Unlike traditional mountaineering equipment, the design of this robot emphasizes more on the integration of ergonomics and smart technology. Weighing only 1.8kg, it incorporates advanced power, electronics, and AI algorithms that can instantly detect lower limb movements and provide tailored assistance. This precise support system effectively reduces strain on the legs, offering great convenience, particularly for elderly or physically weaker tourists.
Additionally, the robot is equipped with an efficient battery system that allows for over 5 hours of continuous walking, with a single charge supporting a distance of around 14 kilometers. For those who want to fully enjoy the natural beauty of Mount Tai without opting for the cable car, this robot is undoubtedly an ideal choice.
Currently, the exoskeleton robot is in the trial operation phase, with plans to officially launch in bulk in early March.
