Recently, following the TikTok ban in the United States, a surge of foreign users has migrated to the Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu (or the Rednote). These users have begun learning how to prepare Chinese dishes, including steamed egg custard and various noodle dishes, with a flurry of Chinese netizens providing "online classes." Enthusiastic Chinese food bloggers have also been sharing bilingual video tutorials in Chinese and English to help foreign users improve their cooking skills.

According to the tutorials, foreign netizens have successfully created incredibly smooth egg custard and shared their results in the comments section, with messages such as, "This is the first dish I've learned on Xiaohongshu, and it's fantastic—I'm very grateful!" Some even called egg custard as "egg milk pudding" to emphasize their affection.

Many foreign users have even showcased their newfound culinary skills by posting photos of their first attempts at Chinese dishes, including shrimp dumplings, baozi (steamed buns), scrambled eggs with tomatoes, and stir-fried pork with green peppers. In the comments, Chinese netizens have encouraged them, saying, "You're even better than I am!"

Additionally, a U.S. mother sought recipe recommendations for her autistic son, prompting a wave of responses from Chinese users across various locations. Suggestions like scrambled eggs with tomatoes and Coca-Cola chicken wings are well-accepted. After trying these recipes, the mother expressed her satisfaction, stating that her son was thrilled, "I don't know how I would manage without these recipes!"

鸡蛋羹、虾饺、番茄炒蛋……外国网友纷纷晒照挑战做中国菜

近期，由于美国TikTok禁令，大批外国用户涌入中国社交平台小红书。外国网友们开始学习做中国菜，做鸡蛋羹、做面食，大批中国网友“在线教学”。热情的中国美食博主也贴心地发布中英文双语视频教程，教外国网友厨艺。

外国网友们根据教程，做出了超丝滑的鸡蛋羹，并在评论区交作业留言，“这是我在小红书上学会的第一道菜，非常不错，感谢。”还有人把鸡蛋羹叫成“蛋奶冻”，来表达自己的喜爱。

还有不少外国网友大秀厨艺，纷纷晒出自己的第一道中国菜，有虾饺、包子、番茄炒蛋、青椒炒肉等。评论区有中国网友留言表示，“比我厉害！”

还有一位美国妈妈为自闭症儿子求助食谱，各个坐标的中国网友纷纷评论推荐，番茄炒蛋、可乐鸡翅等成功出圈！这位妈妈尝试后表示很喜欢，儿子吃得非常高兴，“不知道如果没有这个食谱我该怎么生活！”
