On the final evening of 2024, the Guangdong Museum unveiled an extraordinary exhibition, "Lingering Gaze: Curated Art Collections from the 16th to 20th Century." This captivating showcase presents nearly 400 remarkable treasures, offering a journey through the evolution of jewelry and adornment over the past five centuries.With iconic pieces such as Napoleon's wedding gift set, Princess Thyra of Denmark's Sapphire Tiara, and the Gold Phoenix Crown, the exhibition narrates the rich story of cultural exchange, where Eastern and Western aesthetics converge, blending ideals of beauty across time and space.

One of the exhibition's most striking treasures greets visitors at the entrance: Princess Thyra of Denmark's Sapphire Tiara. This exquisite crown, a gift from King Frederick VIII and Queen Louise of Denmark to their daughter on her 18th birthday,is a dreamlike symbol of royal elegance and feminine grace. Equally enchanting is Napoleon Bonaparte's renowned wedding gift set, presented to Madame Lobstein of Strasbourgduring his marriage to his second wife, Archduchess Marie-Louise. This extraordinary set, with its intricate design and masterful craftsmanship, perfectly exemplifies the Neoclassical style that defined the French Empire period. The exhibition also features a series of elegant powder boxes, handbags, brooches, necklaces, bracelets, and gowns— each piece offering a glimpse into the refined and fashionable lives of Western aristocratic women from the 16th to the 20th centuries.

Among the exhibition's stunning Chinese artifacts are several "Fengguan" (phoenix crowns), worn by noblewomen in the Ming and Qing dynasties during formal ceremonies or official occasions. Notably, the Gold Five Phoenix Crown from the Guizhou Provincial Museum stands out as one of the rarest artifacts ever discovered. This gilded crown, encrusted with gems, is second only to the famed Empress's Phoenix Crown from Ming Dynasty's Dingling Mausoleum. It perfectly embodies the aesthetic ideals and artistic style of the Ming period, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship and regal beauty of the era.

To further enrich the experience, the museum has launched a collection of nearly 100 cultural and creative products, allowing visitors to bring a "piece" of this extraordinary exhibition home.

拿破仑大婚礼物、丹麦公主冠冕，粤博展出近400件艺术珍宝

2024年的最后一天晚上，一场16至20世纪典藏珍宝艺术展在广东省博物馆举办。拿破仑大婚宝石礼物套装、丹麦泰拉公主蓝宝石钻石冠冕、鎏金点翠嵌宝龙凤冠……展览通过近400件（套）艺术珍宝向观众展示500余年来珠宝首饰制作工艺与艺术风潮的发展变化，讲述中西方文明交流互鉴中关于美的故事。

丹麦泰拉公主蓝宝石钻石冠冕摆放在展厅入口处，也是展览最吸睛的展品之一。该冠冕是丹麦国王法雷迪八世和路易丝王后送给女儿泰拉公主的18岁生日礼物，更是无数女性的梦幻之物。拿破仑大婚宝石礼物套装是法兰西第一帝国皇帝拿破仑·波拿巴与第二任妻子玛丽·露易丝结婚时，回赠斯特拉斯堡罗布斯坦夫人的礼物，完美地展示了当时盛行的新古典主义风格。粉盒、手袋、胸针、项链、手镯、礼服裙……勾勒出16至20世纪西方贵族女性的时尚生活。

多顶凤冠均为明清时期中国贵族女性在仪式或正式场合所佩戴的冠饰。如贵州省博物馆藏金镶宝累丝五凤冠。据介绍，金镶宝五凤冠是目前为止发现的仅次于明定陵皇后凤冠的稀世珍品，充分体现了明代的审美观念和艺术风格。

展览还同步推出多个品类近百款文创产品，满足观众将“文物”带回家的需求。
