On the evening of November 28th, the 2024 China (Guangzhou) International Fashion Industry Conference (2024 CGIFIC) officially raised its curtain. This year's conference, themed "Fashion Capital, First in Guangzhou," will last for four days, covering activities such as fashion industry night talks, Flower City Fashion Night, and awards ceremonies, as well as numerous first launches, performances, and exhibitions of international boutique products, domestic trendy products, and independent designer brands, highlighting Guangzhou's reputation as a "Fashion Capital."
During the opening ceremony, Guangzhou unveiled the First-Launch Economy Development Community, the "First in Guangzhou" IP, and the "Guangzhou First-Launch Space Guide." The First-Launch Economy Development Community aims to unite leading enterprises in the industry, commercial organizations, and academic institutions to promote local brand growth through new product launches and promotional events, enhancing Guangzhou's global influence as a venue for first launches. The "First in Guangzhou" IP combines local characteristics with innovative ideas, symbolizing the flowing Pearl River and the Maritime Silk Road.
The "Guangzhou First-Launch Space Guide" features 32 landmarks, including the Canton Tower and HaixinshaIsland, providing a platform for brands and designers to showcase their work. Leveraging its strong industrial foundation, Guangzhou has attracted many international and domestic brands while nurturing a wealth of original designs and emerging brands. "Opening the first flagship store worldwide in Guangzhou is a tremendous affirmation of our brand," said independent designer Louise Zhao.
At the event, the debut show of Minghuatang Han-style clothes, "Return," drew significant attention. "We hope to bring modern vitality into Hanfu through Guangzhou's fertile soil of the fashion industry," said the founder Zhong Yi. Additionally, the Lingnan-themed series "Scent of Tradition" combines gambiered Canton gauze with the fragrance of dried tangerine peel to create an innovative blend of sight and scent, showcasing the charm of the collision between tradition and modernity.
During the conference, nearly 70 brands, including BAMPO and She Sho, will hold the first launch and debut show activities, bringing together the strengths of Guangzhou's fashion design and intelligent manufacturing prowess.

聚焦“首发”新一波时尚盛会在广州开幕
11月28日晚,2024中国(广州)国际时尚产业大会(2024 CGIFIC)正式拉开帷幕。本届大会以“时尚之都 首发广州”为主题,为期四天,涵盖时尚产业夜话、花城时尚之夜、颁奖典礼等活动,同时举办多场国际精品、国货潮品、独立设计师品牌的首发、首秀、首展,凸显广州“时尚之都”的风采。
开幕式上,广州发布首发经济发展共同体、“首发广州”IP及《广州首发空间指南》。首发经济发展共同体将集合行业龙头企业、商业机构、学术院校等力量,通过新品发布和推广活动,助力本土品牌成长,提升广州作为新品首发地的全球影响力。“首发广州”IP融合地域特色与创新理念,展现珠江流动、海上丝路的象征。
《广州首发空间指南》精选广州塔、海心沙等32处地标,为品牌与设计师提供展示平台。依托雄厚的产业基础,广州已吸引众多国际国内品牌入驻,并孕育大量原创设计与新锐品牌。“在广州开设全球首家门店,是对我们品牌的极大肯定,”独立设计师Louise Zhao表示。
活动现场,明华堂汉服品牌首秀“归来”吸引瞩目。“我们希望通过广州这一时尚产业沃土,让汉服焕发现代生命力。”创始人钟毅说。此外,岭南特色系列“闻香”将香云纱与陈皮香型结合,通过嗅觉与视觉的创新融合,展现传统与现代碰撞的魅力。
大会期间,BAMPO半坡、西所等近70个品牌将举办首发首秀活动,集中展示广州时尚设计与智造实力。
