According to statistics from the Guangdong Sub-administration of GACC, Guangdong's foreign trade volume reached 6.75 trillion yuan in the first three quarters of 2024, marking an 11.1% year-on-year increase. Exports amounted to 4.39 trillion yuan, up 9.1%, while imports totaled 2.36 trillion yuan, up 15%. Guangdong's foreign trade continued stable performance with good momentum for growth, and trade volumes reached new highs, demonstrating strong resilience and vitality.

In the first three quarters, Guangdong accounted for 20.9% of the national total trade volume, maintaining the largest scale and proportion in China. The growth rateof Guangdong's trade volume exceeded the national average by 5.8 percentage points, contributing 41.5% to the overall national trade growth. Trade with key markets grew well. The imports and exports to ASEAN reached 1.08 trillion yuan, up 10.1%, and trade with Hong KongSAR, the U.S., the EU, and Taiwan, China increased by 15.3%, 7.3%, 5.5%, and 16.3%, respectively.

Private enterprises stood out, with a trade volume of 4.3 trillion yuan, up 17.1%, accounting for 63.6% of Guangdong's total foreign trade. Meanwhile, the trade volume of foreign-invested enterprises reached 2.11 trillion yuan, up 2%. State-owned enterprises recorded 335.52 billion yuan, a slight 0.3% increase.

In terms of export structure, traditional sectors remained strong. In the first three quarters, exports of mechanical and electrical products reached 2.87 trillion yuan, up 8.8%, accounting for 65.2% of the total export value. Exports of major goods such as household appliances, computers, and mobile phones increased by 14.7%, 5.6%, and 5.3%, respectively. Exports of intermediate goods like steel and integrated circuits also saw significant growth. As for imports, there was a notable expansion in the import of key equipment and raw materials, with integrated circuit imports rising 17.7%, and imports of computers and its components, as well as semiconductor manufacturing equipment, surging by 148.1% and 72.1%, respectively.

Zhang Ke, Deputy Director of the Guangdong Sub-administration of GACC, noted that despite the complex external environment, Guangdong's foreign trade maintained stable growth, highlighting its role as a major contributor. Despitethe challenges, the fundamentals of China's economy remain stable, and effective measures to stabilize foreign trade will continue to improve Guangdong's comprehensive competitiveness.

前三季度广东外贸进出口同比增长11.1%，规模再创历史同期新高

据海关总署广东分署统计，今年前三季度，广东外贸进出口总额达6.75万亿元，同比增长11.1%。其中，出口4.39万亿元，增长9.1%；进口2.36万亿元，增长15%。广东外贸整体运行稳中向好，进出口规模再创新高，展现了强劲的韧性和活力。

前三季度，广东外贸占全国总量的20.9%，规模和比重继续位居全国第一。从增速看，广东外贸增速比全国平均水平高出5.8个百分点，对全国外贸增长的贡献率达到41.5%。对主要市场的贸易增长表现良好，其中，对东盟进出口1.08万亿元，增长10.1%；对中国香港、美国、欧盟和中国台湾的进出口分别增长15.3%、7.3%、5.5%和16.3%。

民营企业表现尤为突出，前三季度进出口额达到4.3万亿元，增长17.1%，占广东外贸总值的63.6%。此外，外商投资企业进出口2.11万亿元，增长2%；国有企业进出口3355.2亿元，增长0.3%。

在出口结构方面，传统动能优势仍然稳固。前三季度，机电产品出口2.87万亿元，增长8.8%，占出口总值的65.2%。家用电器、电脑、手机等主要商品的出口也分别增长14.7%、5.6%和5.3%。同时，钢材、集成电路等中间品的出口增长显著。在进口方面，重要设备及原材料进口大幅扩大。集成电路进口增长17.7%，电脑及部件、半导体制造设备进口分别增长148.1%和72.1%。

海关总署广东分署副主任张柯表示，广东外贸在复杂的外部环境中仍保持稳定增长，展现出“主力军”作用。虽然面临诸多挑战，但国内经济基本面稳定向好，各项稳外贸措施成效显著，广东外贸的综合竞争力将持续增强。
