What is it like to spend the National Day holiday in the Overseas Chinese Ancient Town? From October 1 to 7, Chikan Overseas Chinese Ancient Town in Kaiping, Jiangmen, Guangdong Province, will host more than 50 performances featuring intangible cultural heritage and programs highlighting both Chinese and Western cultural characteristics, inviting tourists to join. During the holiday, Chikan's "fire show" will be a breathtaking spectacle. Celebrating 150 years of Huohu (fire pot), the show will honor the area's glorious history, with thousand-year-old iron flowers symbolizing the most sincere blessings. The "fire dragon" will rise into the air, praying for a bountiful harvest, and blooming fireworks will express Chikan's deep affection for the motherland.
