Art and Culture | On August 13, the #Guangzhou Baiyun Loong and Lion Dance Association held an exchange activity with the #Cambridge #Chinese Community Centre and the Britain-China Business Travel Cultural Exchange Association in #YongQingFang, and decided to set up a Guangzhou Dragon and Lion Cultural Heritage Base in Cambridge Chinese Community Centre.
At the exchange site, 17 Chinese British teenagers from Cambridge, England immersed themselves in the charm of the #Guangdong #LionDance at the Zhaojiashi Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum in Yong Qing Fang. Huang Jingtang, executive vice president of Guangzhou Baiyun Loong and Lion Dance Association and a municipal representative inheritor of Guangdong Lion Dance, taught the teenagers skills hand in hand with lion heads. They danced lion's head and couldn't put it down.
Although growing up in England, 17-year-old Dudu loves Chinese #traditional #culture. "In the UK, we rarely get the opportunity to hear the drums and gongs of the lion dance. For us, today's activity was like 'opening a new door', which further inspired our love for Chinese cultural heritage." #artandculture
