"Paris is a moveable feast." In the 1920s, American writer Ernest Hemingway captured the vibrant cultural scene of Paris in his book A Moveable Feast while living there as a journalist. A century later, as the Olympic Games will be hosted again along the Seine River, how will Paris, known as the "City of Sports" and the "City of Romance", continue this "movable feast"? From outdoor parties to lavender-colored tracks, Venus "growing" arms, and luxury brands creating special designs, the Paris Olympics are set to impress with their stylish approach.

The opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics will begin at 7:30PM local time on July 26th. According to the plansof theParis 2024 Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games(The Paris Organizing Committee), the ceremony will unfold along the Seine River at sunset, marking the first time in Olympic history that the opening ceremony will be held in an open-air setting instead of a stadium. There will be 180 boats sailing on the Seine, with athletes traveling on these boats from Austerlitz Bridge, heading westward for six kilometers. This route will connect iconic landmarks such as Notre Dame, the Louvre, Place de la Concorde, the Grand Palais, and the Eiffel Tower.

The Paris Organizing Committee has also turned the city's streets and landmarks into competition venues. The iconic Eiffel Tower, with its usual throngs of tourists and expansive lawNs, will host beach volleyball matches. The Palace of Versailles, one of the world's most famous palaces and the residence of King Louis XIV, will host equestrian and modern pentathlon events (including horse riding, swimming, shooting, fencing, and running). The Grand Palais, a multifunctional venue featuring museums and concert halls, will host fencing and taekwondo events during the Olympics.

The Paris Olympics place a strong emphasis on athletic aesthetics. Light lavender, resembling the color of lavender fields, will be used in areas for running, jumping, and throwing events, while deep purple will be used in technical areas outside the track. The table tennis tables will feature a chic combination of pink and black and the badminton courts will be dominated by a dreamy purple hue. The climbing venues will be adorned with turquoise and grapefruit pink, creating a vibrant summer atmosphere.

Paris, a muse for countless artists and literary giants, is also the birthplace of many luxury brands. French luxury giants such as Hermès and LVMH are making their mark on this grand event. The medals designed by Chaumet, the only French jewelry brand under the LVMH group, feature a circular design inlaid with original iron from the Eiffel Tower. The hexagonal shape reflects France's nickname "The Hexagon" and incorporates the brand’s signature beehive element.

巴黎奥运会：浪漫之都上演一场“流动的盛宴”

“巴黎是一席流动的盛宴。”上世纪20年代，美国作家海明威以记者身份旅居巴黎，将彼时文化名流齐聚巴黎的盛况写进了《流动的盛宴》。百年后，当奥运会再次回到塞纳河，作为“体育之城”“浪漫之都”的巴黎，又将如何延续这场“流动的盛宴”？“露天大party”、薰衣草色跑道、维纳斯“长出”手臂、奢侈品巨头特别定制……玩时髦巴黎奥运会是认真的！

2024年巴黎奥运会开幕式将于法国当地时间7月26日晚7时30分开始。按照巴黎奥组委公布的设想，开幕式将在落日余晖之下，沿着塞纳河缓缓拉开大幕。这是奥运历史上，首次将开幕式移出体育馆、搬至全开放式空间。届时，将有180艘船只在塞纳河上航行，运动员们将乘坐游船，从奥斯特里茨桥出发，一路由东向西航行6公里。这条长达6公里的航线，将串联起沿岸巴黎圣母院、卢浮宫、协和广场、大皇宫、埃菲尔铁塔等一众世界文化遗产与城市地标。

巴黎奥组委还将城市的大小街道、地标性建筑作为竞技赛场。巴黎地标埃菲尔铁塔，平时游客聚集与休息的大草坪，将化身沙滩排球赛场。世界著名的宫殿之一、法国国王路易十四的住所凡尔赛宫，将承办马术和现代五项赛事（马术、游泳、射击、击剑及跑步）。具有博物馆、音乐厅等多重功能的巴黎大皇宫，奥运会期间将举办击剑、跆拳道等比赛。

巴黎奥运会非常注重竞技美学。接近薰衣草颜色的浅紫色用于径赛、跳跃和投掷等比赛区域；深紫色用于跑道外的技术区域。乒乓球台粉黑相拼，甜飒满分；羽毛球场以梦幻紫为主色调，攀岩场地则采用了松石绿和西柚粉的撞色设计，夏日氛围感拉满。

巴黎不仅是众多艺术家和文学巨匠的缪斯之都，同时也是众多奢侈品牌的发源地，爱马仕、LVMH等法国“国宝级”奢侈品巨头都在这届盛事大展身手。LVMH集团旗下唯一法国珠宝品牌尚美巴黎设计的圆形的奖牌上镶嵌了来自埃菲尔铁塔的原始铁，六边形的设计呼应了法国“六角国”的称号，亦是品牌经典蜂巢元素的外化体现。
