Recently, a video featuring a young girl practicing lion dance accompanied by the drumbeats of a passing lion dance team went viral on the internet. Lin Xiyue, a little girl from Rongcheng, Jieyang, was practicing lion dance by the roadside when she coincidentally encountered a professional lion dance performance team just passing by, who stopped and cheered her on by drumming and shouting.

On February 15th, Lin Xiyue was invited to visit the training ground of the Sun Shuwen Lion Dance Team, the team she encountered on the roadside. After grasping the essentials of lion dance under the guidance of the team members, she even got a chance to perform together with the team. It was reported that Lin Xiyue's father, Lin Kairong, has been practicing martial arts since childhood. Influenced by her father, Lin Xiyue developed a strong interest in drumming and lion dancing and started practicing lion dancing at the age of five. Up to now, she has been doing it for over two years. According to Sun Mingwei, the person in charge of the Sun Shuwen Lion Dance Team, her lion dancing skills have already surpassed her peers.

"We are surprised to see a child of this age who loves lion dance as much as we do. It's even more rare to see a girl with such passion. Our team members are very excited," said Sun Mingwei. He also mentioned that there are many young students in their team, and they became more motivated after the video went viral with the hope of attracting more young people to appreciate traditional culture.

近日，一则“女孩路边练舞狮偶遇舞狮队敲锣助威”的视频在网络上走红：揭阳榕城小女孩林熙悦在路边练习舞狮，恰遇一支专业舞狮表演队路过，为她敲锣擂鼓、呐喊助威。

2月15日，林熙悦来到了与其互动的孙淑文舞狮队学习参观，在舞狮队队员的指导下学习技巧与要领，并与舞狮队一同表演。据介绍，林熙悦的父亲林凯荣自小习武。受爸爸的影响，林熙悦对打鼓、舞狮有着浓厚的兴趣，五岁开始学习舞狮，至今已有两年多的时间了。孙淑文狮队负责人孙名炜表示，她的舞狮水平已经远超同龄人。

“我们看到还有这种年纪的小朋友跟我们同样喜欢舞狮，尤其是女孩子更加难得，队员们都心潮澎湃。”孙名炜还表示，目前舞狮队中也有不少年轻学员，视频走红后，大家更有动力了，希望能吸引更多的年轻人喜欢传统文化。
