Latest consumer electronics competing in Canton Fair

On October 17th, the third day after the opening ceremony, the 134th Canton Fair remained in full swing with enthusiasm from domestic and international exhibitors and buyers. As of 5:00 PM on October 16th, the number of overseas buyers in attendance had reached over 72,000, representing a significant increase compared to the previous edition.

Multiple newly released consumer electronics products became the highlights of the Fair, drawing all the attention. Many Chinese companies presented their aces up the sleeve – the latest products and technologies – to the clients. It is reported that over 200 product debuts and showcases were held both online and offline during the Fair, with the participation of more than 28,000 companies. Ranging from exquisite consumer goods to cutting-edge technological innovations, China's smart manufacturing products have received great acclaim.

Exploring new territories with virtual reality

The "Star Twin Seat VR", developed by Zhuoyuan Technology, which leads the VR sector in terms of exports, allows users to immerse in the realm of a virtual world, attracting overseas buyers to jostle for the experience.

At the booth of Doni Mobile Robots, intelligent robots capable of food delivery and cleaning have captured the attention of merchants from Germany, the United States, Hungary, the Philippines, and other countries and regions, who are eager to negotiate partnerships.

Chinalight displayed their lightweight logistics robots, capable of covering 10,000 square meters with just two hours of walking. Xiao Huan, the company's representative, mentioned that they had already reached cooperative intentions with 211 potential buyers within these two days. "Some customers were even considering taking the robots away with them."

Since the beginning of this year, China's consumer electronics industry has sparked a recovery trend in terms of imports and exports, with those integrated circuits showing consecutive month-on-month growth in August and September. Furthermore, the year-on-year decline in smartphone and computer exports in September has significantly narrowed.

Data shows that in the first three quarters of 2023, the value of exports of electromechanical products in China reached 10.26 trillion RMB, a year-on-year increase of 3.3%, accounting for 58.3% of the total export value, marking a rise of 1.5 percentage points from the same period last year. Notably, the exports of automotive and accessories, ships, and electrical appliances experienced year-on-year growth of 48.2%, 26.8%, and 16.2%, respectively.

Expanding global market with new products and technologies

The "New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicles" exhibition area of the Canton Fair has been bustling with activity. Exhibitors from the whole industry chain of new energy vehicles, including new energy scooters, sedans, buses, and commercial vehicles, as well as charging stations, energy storage systems, lithium batteries, solar cells, and radiators, presented their latest breakthroughs to create opportunities for domestic and international orders.

Jinpeng Group showcased three electric vehicles that focus on green and lightweight transportation. While at the energy storage and photovoltaic booths, TOPA unveiled their latest developments in both large and compact charging pile equipment.

Chen, the director in charge at TOPA, stated, "In recent years, we have been actively expanding the export market for electric passenger vehicles, lithium batteries and solar cells. This year, our imports and exports have experienced explosive growth, with Central Asia, Southeast Asia, and Africa being the primary target regions."

It is also reported that overseas buyers have shown great interest in the new products offered by Chinese companies. As the end of the year approaches, it is the season for stockpiling in the market, and buyers need to prepare for their sales plans and pace for the upcoming year. Therefore, these new products and technologies presented by Chinese companies are crucial in determining their sales momentum in the following year.

直击广交会消费电子新品智能“竞技”

10月17日,第134届广交会持续在广州举行,开幕第三天,国内外参展商和采购商依旧人气满满。截至10月16日17时,境外采购商累计到会72000多人,比上届大幅增长。

多个消费电子新品吸引全场目光,成为一大“爆点”。不少中国企业都会拿出看家本领,向客户展示和介绍最新产品和技术。据悉,此次展会线上线下共举办200多场新品首发首展首秀活动,超2.8万家企业参展,从小巧精美的消费新品,到高精尖前沿科技,中国智造“广”受追捧。

虚拟现实火出圈

卓远科技在VR领域出口规模位居行业前列,历时一年多研发的“双子星”,翻转之间置身虚拟现实,吸引境外采购商竞相体验。

杜尼移动机器人展位,智能机器人能快速完成送餐、清扫,吸引德国、美国、匈牙利、菲律宾等地客商洽谈代理。

通用技术中轻公司展位,2小时步行一万平方米,轻载量物流机器人火出圈。公司负责人肖欢介绍,开展这两天已与211位采购商达成合作意向。“有客户想直接从展会上把机器人带回家。”

今年以来,我国消费电子产业进出口呈现了复苏的势头,集成电路进出口在8月、9月连续环比回升,9月手机、电脑出口同比降幅明显收窄。

数据显示,今年前三季度,我国机电产品出口10.26万亿元,同比增长3.3%,占出口总值的58.3%,较去年同期提升1.5个百分点。其中,汽车及其零配件、船舶、电工器材分别同比增长48.2%、26.8%、16.2%。

新产品新技术加速“出海”

广交会“新能源及智能网联汽车”展区门庭若市。新能源代步车、轿车、公交车、商用车;充电桩、储能系统、锂电池、太阳能电池、散热器……新能源汽车全产业链参展商纷纷拿出看家本领,为海内外订单涌入创造机遇。

金彭集团带来了三辆主打绿色、轻型出行的电动汽车。在储能和光伏展位上,TOPA特派科技带来最新研发的大小型充电桩设备。

特派科技负责人陈总监表示:“近几年企业积极拓展‘新三样’锂电池出口市场,今年进出口更是呈现爆发式增长,目前的主要出口地区是中亚、东南亚、非洲市场。”

记者了解到,境外采购商对目前中国企业的新产品关注度都极高,主要是目前正处年末,是市场上的备货季,需要为未来一年的销售计划和节奏做好准备,因此,中国企业有哪些新品和新技术,对他们明年的销售节奏极为关键。
