The 134th Canton Fair will be held in Guangzhou in three phases from October 15th to November 4th, and the online platform will also operate regularly. The structural optimization of the exhibition area in this session is the most significant adjustment since the 104th in 2008, which plays an important role in the future of the Canton Fair and promoting high-quality development of foreign trade.

On the evening of October 13th, as the 134th Canton Fair was about to open, 1000 drones took off in Haixinsha Park in Guangzhou, illuminating the sky to celebrate the opening of the Canton Fair.

On October 14th, the opening reception and global procurement promotion of the 134th Canton Fair was held in Guangzhou.

"This is my 11th time coming to the Canton Fair. Every time I come to the Canton Fair, I find new surprises – the products are always of high quality and low price, and updated very quickly," said Juan Ramon Perez, director of Mexican company Liverpool, at the ceremony. Liverpool is one of the largest department store chains in Mexico. At this Canton Fair, their Chinese purchasing team and Mexican purchasing team have a total of 55 people. Their goal is to find high-quality products such as kitchenware and electronic products, many of which are "Made in Guangdong."

As a platform to showcase the innovative achievements of China's manufacturing to the world, the first phase of this Canton Fair has further expanded its exhibition area for home appliances, consumer electronics, mechanical equipment, new energy and other mechanical and electrical products compared with the previous session, adding about 3,000 booths with an increase of over 18%. Such measures provide more high-tech and high-value-added enterprises with opportunities to display more innovative, high-end, intelligent and green products. Among them, the scale of the new energy exhibition area has increased by 172%, which will further help expand the export of electric passenger vehicles, lithium batteries and solar cells and promote the development of emerging industries.

第134届广交会今日开幕，“广东制造”令人惊喜

10月15日至11月4日期间，第134届广交会将于广州分三期举办，同时常态化运营线上平台。本届广交会展区结构优化是自2008年第104届以来调整力度最大的一届，对广交会未来和促进外贸高质量发展具有重要作用。

10月13日晚，在第134届广交会即将开幕之际，1000架无人机在广州海心沙升空，点亮苍穹，喜迎广交会的举行。

10月14日，第134届广交会开幕招待会暨全球采购推介活动启动仪式在广州举行。

“这是我第11次来到广交会，每一次来到广交会，我都能够找到新的惊喜——那些产品总是物美价廉，更新速度极快。”仪式上，墨西哥Liverpool公司总监Juan Ramon Perez表示，Liverpool是墨西哥最大的连锁百货公司之一。本届广交会，他们的中国采购团队及墨西哥采购团队总共有55人，目标是寻找厨具、电子产品等优质产品，其中不乏“广东制造”。

作为向世界展示中国制造创新成果的平台，与上届相比，本届广交会第一期家电、电子消费品、机械设备、新能源等机电产品展区规模进一步扩大，增加约3000个展位，增幅超18%，为更多高技术、高附加值企业提供了参展机会，展出更多创新、高端、智能、绿色产品。其中新能源展区规模增幅达172%，将进一步助力“新三样”产品扩大出口，促进新兴产业发展。
