"Over the sea grows the moon bright;We gaze on it far, far apart." The 15^th day of the eighth lunar month is a traditional Chinese festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival. At this moment of family reunion, there are also many wanderers who cannot return to their hometowns because they are scattered all over the world. However, the geographical distance only separates the figures, but the missing hearts cross thousands of miles and gather together through music.

At this special moment, the Yangcheng Evening News has launched a special program, inviting Chinese students studying in the United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore,Spain,mainland of China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, as well as returned overseas students and Belarusian students in China, to play the traditional Chinese melodies "Moon Rising in the Rosy Clouds" together with various instruments.
Legend has it that "Moon Rising in the Rosy Clouds" was transcribed from the music score of a Cantonese folk melody in the Qing Dynasty.Chinese composer Ren Guang created the ensemble piece during the summer and autumn of 1935 when China was still at war.It depicts a beautiful scene of clouds chasing the moon and adding radiance to each other.With a beautiful and lyrical style，the music piece is peaceful and elegant.It embodies the longing of ordinary Chinese for a better life with stability and happiness in the early 20^th century.
On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the students sent their Mid-Autumn Festival wishes: "I wish the world peace, I wish every family can get together at this special moment, I hope everyone in the world can be happy, and I hope that the distant travelers can enjoy a bright moon with their families." "I wish the motherland prosperity, the people happiness and well-being, and hope that every student can achieve academic success." "I wish my loved ones in the distance a happy Mid-Autumn Festival. Although I can not return home, my heart will always be with you."
It is reported that this special program is produced by the Education and Health Department of Yangcheng Evening News, the Education Development Research Institute of Yangcheng Evening News, and is strongly supported by EIC Education.
