With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, the Guangxiao Road in Yuexiu District in Guangzhou was crowded with people at night. Compared with previous years, this year a variety of lantern stalls have made the Road a “Lantern Street” with unique festive charm. Various dazzling lanterns lined up along the road have turned the quiet night into a picturesque scene, attracting people to stop to enjoy this grand feast of magnificent lanterns. Amidst the crowd, a picture of several elderly folks attentively playing chess formed an interesting contrast to this joyful moment. Photography enthusiasts also eagerly captured the joy of the festival with their cameras.

中秋佳节将至，晚上，广州市越秀区光孝路人头攒动。今年比往年多了各种花灯档，光孝路俨然成为一条独具节日韵味的“花灯街”。

道路两旁挂满形形色色的花灯，将原本静谧的夜色装点得如诗如画，人们驻足欣赏这美轮美奂的花灯盛宴。人群中，几位正在下象棋的老人家专注的神情与此刻热闹欢乐的背景形成了有趣的对照，不少摄影爱好者也纷纷用快门记录节日的欢愉。
