On the evening of September 24th, the tickets for the Guangzhou-Shanwei high-speed railway went on sale, allowing passengers to purchase tickets for travel starting on September 26th. This marks the official opening date for the high-speed railway. Once operational, this rail line will reduce the travel time between Guangzhou and Shanwei to less than one hour, greatly enhancing the Pearl River Delta region's connectivity to other regions.

It was found that the earliest train from Xintang Station, train G6500, will depart at 9:37 AM and is expected to arrive at Shanwei Station at 10:42 AM, completing the journey in just 1 hour and 5 minutes. The quickest train, G6600, departs from Xintang Station at 11:52 AM and is projected to reach Shanwei Station at 12:42 PM, making no intermediate stops and covering the entire distance in just 50 minutes.

The Guangzhou-Shanwei high-speed railway starts from the west at Guangzhou Xintang Station, passing through Guangzhou, Huizhou, the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone, and finally, Shanwei in the east. The total length of the line is 202 kilometers long with a designed speed of 350km/h and 8 stations: Xintang, Zengcheng, Luofushan, Boluo, Huizhou South, Huidong, Shenshan, and Shanwei.

Reportedly, except for Shenshan Station, all other stations will be ready for operation by the end of this month. These newly constructed stations are expected to become popular tourist destinations in their own right.

Xintang Station

Xintang Station, the starting point of the new Guangzhou-Shanwei high-speed railway, boasts an exterior resembling a dragon boat used in the Hakka dance. Resembling a boat sailing bravely against the wind and waves, Xintang Station will advance courageously alongside the high-speed rail.

Zengcheng Station

Zengcheng Station is designed with the concept of "Famous for its hanging green lychee trees, Zengcheng will contribute to the development of the Lingnan region with its high-speed rail station and the district itself." The texture of lychee skin combined with modular construction techniques creates a facade reminiscent of the famous hanging green lychee trees.

Luofushan Station

Luofushan Station takes inspiration from traditional wooden joints, showcasing the elegant, upward-reaching, and soaring architectural design that "integrates natural landscapes and human culture seamlessly".

Boluo Station

Boluo Station's overall architectural design resembles a soaring dragon, symbolizing the vitality of living things. The combination of unit variations creates a space that is both symmetric and asymmetric, highlighting the regional characteristics of the building.

Huizhou South Station

Huizhou South Station draws inspiration from the Hakka culture of eastern Guangdong, blending regional cultural characteristics with modern architecture, and showcasing the city's charm.

Huidong Station

Huidong Station is inspired by multiple connotations of ocean culture, Hakka culture, and Lingnan culture. Its design concept symbolizes the "City of Mountains and Seas at the Forefront of the Times".

Shenshan Station

The graceful and elegant roof of Shenshan Station symbolizes the "Shenshan Bridge" connecting the two regions of Shenzhen and Shanwei. This station comprises "the comprehensive facilities on the east side of the station and the urban complex on the west side", forming an iconic gateway image.

Shanwei Station

Shanwei Station is not only an intermediate station on the existing Hangzhou-Shenzhen Railway but also the terminus of the new Guangzhou-Shanwei high-speed railway. It plays a crucial role in connecting the Guangzhou-Shanwei line with the Hangzhou-Shenzhen line, making passenger transfers convenient and significantly improving connectivity.
