On September 22^nd, the 2023 World Guangdong Entrepreneurs Convention with the theme of "Global Guangdong Entrepreneurs, International Bay Area & A Shared Future".

There are about 800 participants in this conference, mainly from Hong Kong, Macao, Chinese Taiwan, and many countries and regions overseas. Most of them are young entrepreneurs from the technology, finance, and economic sectors, with a focus on high-tech, strategic emerging industries. Among them are over 200 presidents of business associations and well-known Guangdong merchants from Hong Kong, Macao, Chinese Taiwan and some overseas areas.

Guangdong, the pioneer of reform and opening up, is the largest province in terms of private economy. On this vibrant land, as of June 2023, 16.65 million registered private enterprises (including self-employed individuals ) have made Guangdong maintain its top in terms of the number of private economic units, tax revenue, total import and export volume, and so on for many consecutive years.

The conference released three lists: "2023 Top 100 Private Enterprises in Guangdong", "2023 Top 100 Private Manufacturing Enterprises in Guangdong", and "2023 Top 50 Private Service Enterprises in Guangdong". According to the introduction, the total operating income, total assets, and net profit after tax in 2022 of the enterprises selected for the "2023 Top 100 Private Enterprises in Guangdong" reached 6.58 trillion yuan, 10.34 trillion yuan, and 378.7 billion yuan, respectively.

The annual revenue threshold for the "2023 Top 100 Private Enterprises in Guangdong" list is 12.313 billion yuan. There are four companies with annual revenue exceeding 400 billion yuan, 15 companies exceeding 100 billion yuan, and 64 companies exceeding 20 billion yuan. The selected companies are distributed in 14 cities in Guangdong, including 38 in Shenzhen, 25 in Guangzhou, 17 in Foshan, three each in Zhuhai, Huizhou, Dongguan, and Maoming, two in Zhaoqing, and one each in Shantou, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Zhanjiang, Chaozhou, and Yunfu.

From the industry distribution of the listed companies, there are 52 in the manufacturing industry, 17 in the wholesale and retail industry, seven in the real estate industry and business services industry respectively, four in the construction industry, three in the software information technology services industry, two in the internet and related services industry, and one each in the insurance industry, postal industry, livestock industry, technology promotion and application services industry, gas production and supply industry, currency financial services, other financial industries, and comprehensive industry.

"Guangdong entrepreneurs have always led the trend of the times with their pioneering spirit, openness and compatibility, and pragmatic innovation. A large number of industrious entrepreneurs with remarkable achievements have emerged not only in Guangdong but also the world, setting an example for the whole country in terms of innovative development and industrial prosperity," said Zhai Meiqing, the honorary chairman of the Guangdong Federation of Industry & Commerce and the president of the Heungkong Group, who also expressed that there was a rare opportunity for development. Guangdong entrepreneurs should vigorously promote the spirit of Guangdong entrepreneurs in the new era, work hard and contribute to the economic development of Guangdong.

It is reported that in the speeches, main forums, and parallel forums of the conference, outstanding young Guangdong entrepreneurs from around the world were invited to participate deeply, fully demonstrating their vitality and responsibilities of the times. The conference unites and leads the majority of young Guangdong entrepreneurs to inherit and promote the spirit of Guangdong entrepreneurs in the new era, seizing the development opportunities of innovation and entrepreneurship in the Greater Bay Area, leading the Great Bay Area with the genes of youth to a better future, and contributing their power to the construction of a strong country and national rejuvenation.

2023世界粤商大会在广州召开

9月22日，主题为“全球粤商 世界湾区 共享未来”的2023世界粤商大会在广州召开。

此次大会参会嘉宾约800名，主要来自港澳台、海内外多个国家和地区，大部分涉及科技界、金融界、经济界，并侧重于高新技术、战略性新兴产业和青年企业家代表。其中，包括100多名海外工商社团会长和知名粤商代表以及100多名港澳台工商社团会长和知名粤商代表。

广东，改革开放的排头兵，民营经济第一大省。在这片活跃的南粤大地上，截至2023年6月，1665万户（含个体工商户）登记在册的民营企业让广东连续多年民营经济单位数、实现税收、进出口总额等保持全国首位。

大会发布了“2023广东省民营企业100强”“2023广东省制造业民营企业100强”“2023广东省服务业民营企业50强”三个榜单。据介绍，“2023广东省民营企业100强”入围企业的2022年营业收入总额、资产总额、税后净利润总额分别为6.58万亿元、10.34万亿元、3787亿元。

“2023广东省民营企业100强”榜单的入围门槛为123.13亿元，营业收入超4000亿元的企业4家，超1000亿的企业15家，超200亿的企业64家；入围企业分布在14个地市，其中，深圳38家，广州25家，佛山17家，珠海、惠州、东莞、茂名各3家，肇庆2家，汕头、中山、江门、湛江、潮州、云浮各1家。

从入围企业的行业分布来看，制造业52家，批发和零售业17家，房地产业、商务服务业各7家，建筑业4家，软件信息技术服务业3家，互联网和相关服务2家，保险业、邮政业、畜牧业、科技推广和应用服务业、燃气生产和供应业、货币金融服务、其他金融业及综合各1家。
