Chaozhou music is known as the "Tang and Song Dynasty's legacy" and the "authentic voice of China". As a national-level intangible cultural heritage, the melodious Chaozhou music closely touches the hearts of the Chaozhou people both at home and abroad. On September 14^th, the Chaozhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Concert was successfully held at the National Centre for the Performing Art in Beijing, where the audience gathered to listen to the Chaozhou music and experience the intangible cultural heritage together.

That evening, the concert kicked off with the performance of the "Casting Nets for Fish" with Chaozhou gong and drum. Led by the big drum and accompanied by the suona (Chinese musical instrument), the music grandly presented the emotions of fishermen setting out to sea and returning with a bountiful catch. It is reported that "Casting Nets for Fish" participated in the first National Folk Art Performance in 1952 and won the "Excellent Program Award". In 1957, it participated in the 6^th World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow and won the "Gold Medal".

After the atmosphere of the concert was ignited by the Chaozhou gong and drum known as the "Oriental Symphony", a variety of classic pieces such as the "Jingchenghui"("At the Capital") from the Capital from Chaozhou Opera "Cailouji" (lit. a Story about a Colorful Building) were performed one after another. The audiences traveled through a musical journey, sometimes with Chaozhou string music, the resounding and powerful drum beats, and the beautiful and melodious Chaozhou opera tunes.

As the concert approached its end, amidst the heated applause and in response to the call for another performance from the audience, an encore music piece titled "Celebrating the Harvest" ignited the climax of the entire venue, and the concert finally came to a close.

The person in charge of the Guangdong Chao Opera Development and Reform Foundation stated that this concert is based on Chaoshan culture but is open to the world, touching the hearts of overseas Chaozhou people with local music.

潮州音乐素有“唐宋遗音”“华夏正声”的美称，作为国家级非物质文化遗产，一曲悠悠潮音紧扣着海内外潮籍乡亲的心弦。9月14日，潮州非遗音乐会在北京国家大剧院成功举办，全场一起聆听潮音、感受非遗。

当晚，音乐会在潮州大锣鼓《抛网捕鱼》中拉开序幕，以大鼓为指挥、以唢呐为领奏，气势磅礴地呈现了渔民从出海到满载而归的音乐情绪。据悉，《抛网捕鱼》曾于1952年参加全国第一届民间艺术会演，荣获“优秀节目奖”，1957年参加莫斯科第六届世界青年联欢节，荣获“金质奖章”。

音乐会氛围被誉为“东方交响乐”的潮州大锣鼓点燃后，潮剧“彩楼记”选段《京城会》等多种类型的经典曲目接连上演，时而是具有浓郁地方韵味的潮州弦乐，时而是气势如虹的铿锵鼓点，时而是清丽悠扬的潮剧潮曲，令观众沉醉其中。

临近音乐会尾声，在观众的强烈要求和掌声中，一首返场音乐《庆丰收》掀起了全场的高潮，音乐会也在悠悠潮音中落下帷幕。

广东省潮剧发展与改革基金会有关负责人表示，本场音乐会立足潮汕，放眼世界，用音乐拨动着海内外潮籍乡亲的心弦。
