The 2023#MaritimeGuangdong Program short film anthology has wrapped up, and we are thrilled to present the behind-the-scenes video of the short film "Swimming Lesson"!

It was directed by the emerging filmmaker Holmes Deng of the 2023#MaritimeGuangdong Program, who tells a metaphorical story about "leaving" and "staying" through the tug-of-war between a father and son.

During the filming of "Swimming Lesson", the crew discovered a secret isle in Taishan, Guangdong. However, before they could start shooting, the Typhoon "Saola" started to approach the little island. Should they leave or stay? As the film intertwined with reality, each member of the crew had a difficult choice to make.
