The 31st Summer Universiade is at the height of its competition in Chengdu, an ancient city rich in culture and history, where the enchanting Chengdu culture is introduced to people from all over the globe.

Despite the sweltering heat, long queues still form outside Chengdu Museum. The simmering summer vacation coinciding with the 2023 Universiade has led to a surge in visitor demand.

Chengdu Museum, home to countless treasured artifacts, boasts tortoise shells with inscribed symbols from the Jiahu Site in Henan Province, oracle bones for divination on topics like war and sacrifice, Shi Qiang pan (Basin of Scribe Qiang), Jin Gong pan (a plate given as dowry to his daughter by a ruler of the state of Jin), Yu Shinan's calligraphy work "Dayun Tie", bronze human heads from Sanxingdui, Pottery Singing and Dancing Figurine from Eastern Han Dynasty, and Stone Rhinoceros from Han Dynasty. All these collections fully demonstrate the profundity and continuity of Chinese civilization to visitors worldwide.

Among the 220 exhibits in the museum, 70 are classified as first-class cultural relics, with a staggering 90% comprising valuable artifacts. Both residents and foreign visitors, including Universiade athletes and staff, flock to this institution to take photos and witness the splendor of these national treasures.

With sports tourism and summer vacation combined, the Chengdu Universiade has created an essential platform for cultural exchange, projecting the splendors of Sichuan Province and the charisma of Chengdu to the world.

On-site reporters revealed that young tourists who clutched carefully-selected postcards, as the main visiting force, queue to stamp for their visits. The museum's cultural and creative shop is incessantly buzzing with youthful energy. Visiting the museum and collecting cultural peripherals is becoming a popular trend among young groups.

Notably, during the Universiade, the museum's cultural and creative shop also stocks peripherals related to the Chengdu Universiade's mascot - Rongbao. Be it the figurines of changing-face Rongbao, keychains, or dolls, a closer look reveals the intense popularity surrounding Rongbao.

Sun, a student who came from Shanghai to watch the Chengdu Universiade, stands hesitantly before a pile of Rongbao merch. "I keep telling myself to resist, but my legs just freeze every time I see Rongbao. I genuinely want to own every piece of Rongbaos' peripherals."

第31届世界大学生夏季运动会激战正酣。作为历史文化名城，成都也向来自世界各地的人们展示了巴蜀文化的魅力。

成都博物馆的河南舞阳贾湖遗址刻符龟甲、征伐刻辞卜骨、祭祀刻辞卜骨、史墙盘、晋公盘、虞世南《大运帖》页、三星堆铜人头像、东汉陶俳优俑、镇水石犀……数不清的珍贵展品为全世界的游客展现了中华文明的源远流长和博大精深。

虽值酷暑，但成都博物馆门口依然排起长龙，火热暑假又逢大运赛事，观众的观展需求日益高涨。

成都博物馆内220件展品当中，一级文物就有70件，珍贵文物的比例更是高达90%以上，无论是成都本地市民还是外来游客以及参加大运会的运动员和工作人员们，大家都纷纷前来打卡，一睹“国家宝藏”的风采。

借助暑期旅游与体育旅游两个热点的碰撞，成都大运会形成了一个重要的交流平台，向世界展示精彩四川、魅力成都。

记者在现场发现，年轻人成为观展主力军，不少年轻游客拿着精挑细选的明信片，排着长队等待“打卡”一个个特色文物的印章。文创商店里，年轻人的身影更是络绎不绝。“打卡”博物馆，收集文创周边逐渐成为年轻群体的旅游方式。

值得一提的是，正值大运，在成都博物馆的文创店还有大运会的吉祥物——“蓉宝”的周边，变脸“蓉宝”摆件、“蓉宝”钥匙扣、“蓉宝”公仔……仔细一瞧，“蓉宝”的周边热度似乎更高。

从上海来看大运会的孙同学站在一堆“蓉宝”前面犹豫不决，“我一直告诉自己要克制，但是我只要看到‘蓉宝’就迈不开腿，真的很想拥有每一款‘蓉宝’周边。”
