As the only land-based port connecting Hong Kong and Macao in China, the Zhuhai port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge has implemented one-off inspection for passenger and freight vehicles.

A ccording to data, over the past four years, more than 29.78 million passengers and over 6.15 million vehicles have crossed the Zhuhai port. As of June 9th, the boundary checkpoint at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge has inspected 220,000 freight vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 33%.

This busy port promotes cross-border logistics, which continuously contributes to foreign trade import and export growth. Data shows that from the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in 2018 to May 2023, the total import and export value achieved through the Bridge reached 639 billion yuan. The annual import and export value in 2022 was 269.73 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 96.1%, achieving the fourth consecutive annual increase from 2018 to 2022.

Guo Yanhai, Deputy Commissioner of the local customs, said that with services such as "advance declaration", "two-step declaration", "single e-lock scheme"(a Hong Kong-Mainland jointly scheme facilitating logistics flow through seamless clearance service) and "24/7 clearance appointment", the clearance for goods required no inspection only takes 3 to 5 minutes. From January to May 2023, the overall clearance time for imports and exports at the Zhuhai port of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge has been reduced by more than 80% compared to 2018, ranking among the top customs in the country.

What's more, during the same period, the value of exported goods through the customs cross-border e-commerce management platform at the Bridge reached 23.11 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 173.8%.

Currently, as the agglomeration effects of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge coming to the fore, the Bridge is expanding its "friend circle" in foreign trade. The departure location and destination of goods cover 31 provincial-level regions intheChinese mainland and 235 countries and regions worldwide.

港珠澳大桥经贸新通道“朋友圈”不断扩大

作为全国唯一一个与香港、澳门陆路相连的公路口岸，港珠澳大桥珠海公路口岸客货车在全国率先实行“一站式”查验。据统计，4年多来，经口岸出入境的旅客超过2978万人次、车辆超过615万辆次。数据显示，截至6月9日，港珠澳大桥边检站查验货车数量达22万辆次，同比增长33%。

“热”起来的口岸，助推跨境物流不断促进外贸进出口增长。数据显示，港珠澳大桥开通以来截至今年5月，经港珠澳大桥珠海公路口岸进出口总值6390亿元，其中2022年进出口总值2697.3亿元，同比增长96.1%，实现开关以来“四连增”。

拱北海关所属港珠澳大桥海关副关长郭艳海介绍，采取“提前申报”“两步申报”“跨境一锁”“ 7×24小时预约通关”等便利化措施后，无需查验的货物口岸海关通关时间仅3分钟至5分钟。今年前五个月，港珠澳大桥珠海公路口岸进出口整体通关时间较开关之初压缩八成以上，位居全国海关前列。

今年1-5月，经港珠澳大桥珠海公路口岸通过海关跨境电商管理平台出口货物价值达231.1亿元，同比增长173.8%。

目前，港珠澳大桥的聚集效应日益凸显，外贸“朋友圈”也在不断扩大。货物收发地也已涵盖内地的31个省（自治区、直辖市）和全球235个国家（地区）。
