Dragon boat race and over 200 intangible cultural heritage projects show together June 10th is China's "Cultural and Natural Heritage Day", on which the 2023 Guangzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Promoting Events kicked off at the Dragon Boat Park in Shatian, Dongguan City with the offline activities continuing until June 11th.
The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Guangdong) Dragon Boat Invitational Tournament and Dongguan Dragon Boat Championship were the highlights of the event, where beating drums and gathering crowds made a lively atmosphere.
On the morning of June 10th, dragon-boat teams including 18 coed teams from the GBA,10 traditional men's teams from coastal towns and streets in Dongguan, and 12 male and female teams from Shatian competed together, fully demonstrating the unique charm of dragon boat culture and highlighting the GBA humanistic spirit of "Unity is strength" , which reflects the GBA high-quality development trend: Everyone belongs to a family to work together and forge ahead.
In the end, the Shatian Dragon Boat Team from Dongguan won the championship of the invitational tournament, the Zhongtang team won the championship of the Dongguan Dragon Boat Championship, and their counterparts from Zhongwei Village swept the championship of the men's and women's groups of the Shatian Town Dragon Boat Championship.
Notably, the event also marked the first sports and cultural exchange since Dongguan and Hong Kong signed a pairing agreement for joint construction in sci-tech innovation, industrial collaboration, and talent development earlier this year, with the Shatian Dragon Boat Team from Dongguan and the Dragon Boat Team collaborated by Shatian Town in Dongguan with Sha Tin District in Hong Kong (both are written as "沙田"in Chinese) winning first and second place respectively in the invitational tournament. By leveraging dragon boats as a medium, the two places further deepened their friendship and ties and promoted cultural exchanges and mutual understanding with two-way efforts.
Other exciting promoting events in Guangdong, including the 2023 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival and the 4th Guangdong Province Intangible Cultural Heritage Shopping Festival Online Bazaar, drew the general public to enjoy shopping and explore the beauty and interest of Guangdong's intangible cultural heritages, making intangible cultural heritages lively and fashionable on all fronts. What's more, over 200 intangible cultural heritage projects from the GBA were showcased, allowing citizens and tourists to approach the intangible cultural heritage treasures of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau in a one-stop manner, taste unique flavors and learn about the stories of craftsmen's inheritance. A one-month online market has also been launched by more than a thousand branded ICH products with local characteristics registered in a WeChat mini-program mall and online stores in WeChat video and Douyin.
During the 2023 "Cultural and Natural Heritage Day", more than 400 diverse and exciting promotion and exhibition activities will be held throughout Guangdong, fully demonstrating Guangdong's systematic protection achievements of intangible cultural heritage in recent years and promoting the integration of intangible cultural heritage into modern life.
赛龙夺锦与200多个非遗项目齐亮相
6月10日是“文化和自然遗产日”。 6月10日至11日， “非遗潮未来·龙腾湾区”2023年“文化和自然遗产日”广东主会场系列活动在东莞沙田龙舟公园举办。线下活动将持续至6月11日。
活动现场，鼓声激昂，人头攒动，热闹非常。粤港澳大湾区（广东）龙舟邀请赛暨东莞龙舟锦标赛是本次活动的重头戏。
6月10日上午，来自粤港澳大湾区的18支男女混合龙舟队、东莞水乡沿海镇街10支男子传统龙舟队，以及12支沙田男、女子组龙舟队同江竞渡，全面展示龙舟文化的独特魅力，凸显“人文湾区，一水同舟；万众一心，赛龙夺锦”的人文精神，彰显大湾区一家亲，携手共进、奋勇向前的高质量发展态势。
最终，东莞沙田龙舟队夺得粤港澳大湾区（广东）龙舟邀请赛冠军，中堂镇龙舟队夺得东莞龙舟锦标赛冠军，中围村包揽沙田镇龙舟锦标赛男子组、女子组冠军。
值得一提的是，东莞沙田队和沙田·香港同心会龙舟队分获粤港澳大湾区（广东）龙舟赛的冠亚军。这是两地年初签约结对共建以来开展的首次体育文化交流。两地以龙舟为媒，进一步深化友谊、浓厚情感，推动大湾区人文交流、民心相通、双向奔赴。
此外，2023粤港澳非遗生活节、广东省第四届非遗购物节云上集市……精彩纷呈的广东主会场系列活动，吸引广大群众畅享非遗购、探访非遗味、共赴非遗游、共赏非遗美，全方位推动非遗活起来、潮起来。
200多个粤港澳非遗项目集中亮相，市民游客可以在此一站式走近粤港澳“非遗好物”，品尝舌尖上的“非遗味道”，感受匠心传承的“非遗故事”。逾千款来自粤港澳三地具有地方特色的品牌非遗产品，进驻“粤港澳东莞非遗墟市”微信小程序商城、微信视频号小店和抖音小店，开展为期一个月的云上集市。
据悉，在“文化和自然遗产日”期间，全省各地将举办总计400多场形式多样、精彩纷呈的非遗宣传展示活动，全面展示近年来广东非遗系统性保护成果，推动非遗融入现代生活。
