Recently, the Haixin Bridge in Guangzhou has been honored with the prestigious Gold Award at "World Pedestrian Bridge Award of 2023".

Standing as Guangzhou's first pedestrian bridge spanning the Pearl River, Haixin Bridge boasts the largest span and widest deck among all curved beam pedestrian suspension bridges worldwide.

The World Pedestrian Bridge Award, established and organized by the International Road Federation (IRF), recognizes the design, construction, construction units, as well as technical expertise of outstanding pedestrian bridges worldwide. It is considered an authoritative award in the field of pedestrian bridges around the world.

The innovative design of Haixin Bridge embodies the cultural characteristics of Guangdong. Architects have ingeniously adopted the design elements of urban public space, creating varying bridge heights on either side of the main beam. The bridge features cleverly placed flower beds, observation decks, and separate pathways for both upward and downward traffic, catering to the diverse needs of pedestrians.

For example, people can jog, take walks, rest, and take photos on the bridge. During festivals, they can watch dragon boat races and fireworks from the bridge, and so on.

In addition, the bridge uses friendly designs such as glare-free lighting to avoid the lighting from shining into people's eyes directly, ensuring a comfortable experience for users.

Furthermore, by adopting a smart bridge system, Haixin Bridge has become an intelligent and innovative bridge that integrates intelligent detection, safety monitoring, and science education, among other functions.

世界人行桥梁唯一金奖授予广州海心桥

近日，广州海心桥获得2023“世界人行桥奖”唯一金奖。 

海心桥是广州第一条跨珠江人行桥，是世界上跨度最大、桥面最宽的曲梁斜拱人行桥。

据悉，世界人行桥奖由国际道路联合会(International Road Federation, IRF) 设立并主办，主要奖励世界杰出人行桥的设计、建设、施工单位及主要技术人员，是世界人行桥领域的权威奖项。

海心桥桥梁的创意理念充分体现广东的地域文化特征，建筑师创新性地采用城市公共空间的设计方式设计步行桥：通过主梁两侧高差形成高低桥面，巧妙地布设了花池、看台及上下两种通行空间等。

这种设计满足各类人群的通行和观景的需要。人们在桥上晨跑、散步、休憩、打卡，节庆时在桥上观龙舟、赏烟花等等。

此外，桥梁采用避免光源直射眼睛的泛光设计等人性化细节，满足人们更好的使用体验。

除此之外，通过引入智慧桥梁系统，使得海心桥成为具智能检测，安全监控，科普教育等多位一体的现代智慧创新桥梁。
