#A Grande Beleza de Guangdong  Em 18 de maio, celebra-se o Dia Internacional dos Museus. Este ano, o Museu da Cidade de Dongguan organizou uma gala de abertura e destacou o tema "Retorno do Tesouro Nacional - Exposição Especial de Cabeças de Animais de Bronze do Palácio de Verão Antigo e Relíquias Culturais Repatriadas do Exterior".  A grandiosa exposição, que se estende até 27 de agosto, está dividida em quatro subtemas: "Reunindo em Tempos Prósperos", "Era do Bronze", "Reprodução de Estátuas de Buda" e "Arte Budista no Planalto". Ela apresenta 86 itens preciosos, que vão desde as cabeças de animais de bronze da dinastia Qing do antigo Palácio de Verão, os artefatos de bronze das dinastias Shang e Zhou, até as estátuas budistas das dinastias do Norte e do Sul de Qingzhou, e as estátuas de Buda de bronze dourado das dinastias Ming e Qing, respectivamente.

This year, Dongguan City Museum organized an opening gala and put the spotlight on the theme of Return of National Treasure—Special Exhibition of Bronze Animal Heads from Old Summer Palace and Repatriated Cultural Relics from Overseas. Extending to August 27, the grand exhibition is divided into four sub-themes— “Gathering in Prosperous Times”, “Bronze Age”, “Buddha Statue playback” and “ Buddhist Art on the Plateau”—showcasing 86 precious items ranging from the Qing dynasty bronze animal heads from old summer palace, the Shang and Zhou dynasties’ bronze wares, to the Northern and Southern Dynasties’ Buddhist statues of Qingzhou and the Ming and Qing dynasties’ Gilt Bronze Buddha Statues respectively.

5月18日晚，2023年“5·18国际博物馆日”东莞市主会场启动仪式暨“博学东莞”系列主题展览之“国宝归来——圆明园兽首暨海外回流文物特展”开幕仪式在东莞市博物馆举行。展览展期将持续至8月27日，共分“盛世聚首”“青铜时代”“妙相重光”“雪域梵华”四部分，分别展示清代圆明园兽首铜像、商周青铜器、南北朝青州佛造像、明清鎏金铜佛等共计86件珍贵文物展品。
