What is the similarity between biological intelligence and machine intelligence? There are three different but interrelated intelligence on Earth, including biological intelligence, human intelligence, and computer intelligence. Regarding the development of science and technology innovation in the Greater Bay Area, Michael Levitt said that cities such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong are different from each other while maintaining open and close interactions, making strong competitiveness possible.
Daniel Kammen, a contributor to the IPCC report honored with the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 and professor at the University of California, Berkeley, highlighted the importance of cooperation between China and America, saying that countries such as China and America should closely cooperate in using clean energy to curb global warming.
Interdisciplinary research to address ageing issues
With a focus on ageing issues, Ye Yuru, President of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences said that"Ageing population is a challenge but an opportunity". She hopes to establish a cross-disciplinary cooperation platform combining basic research in life sciences, medicine, and engineering with ageing studies in Greater Bay Area.
Teng Jinguan, President of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and President of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences, elaborated on the views of "Promoting interdisciplinary research for the construction of Greater Bay Area".
Liu Liehong, Chairman of China Unicom, a state-owned Chinese telecommunications carrier, stated that Chinese telecom operators, which lead the world in their third transformation, will comprehensively upgrade cloud services and provide a computing power supply of more types, higher performance, and lower latency in the future.

生物智能和机器智能之间有什么相通之处?2013年诺贝尔化学奖得主迈克尔·莱维特(Michael Levitt)说,地球上有三种不同但是密切相关的智能——生物智能、人类智能和计算机智能。在人工智能的神经网络中,有类似生物演化的过程,通过不断地“学习”,形成越来越复杂的网络结构。
对于大湾区的科技创新发展,迈克尔·莱维特表示,广州、深圳、香港这些城市,彼此之间有着很多的不同,同时又能够保持开放而密切的互动,这将形成非常强大的竞争力。
