The 2023 China Brand Day event, which kicked off at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center, will run until 14 May. At the event, "a bite of Guangdong" is on show, featuring the teeming booth from Xinhui Tangerine Peel Village in Jiangmen, the attractive booth from Chaozhou for Dancong (single bush) tea, and the tempting booth for Har Gow (traditional Cantonese dumplings) and steamed ribs in black bean sauce.
New era of Guagdong's Premade dishes
Within the exhibition zone for Guangdong enterprises, a time-honored Chinese food company Guangzhou Restaurant presented four types of Cantonese frozen dim sum, including steamed ribs in black bean sauce, Har Gow, Shumai and chicken feet. A Cantonese cruise chef was invited to demonstrate how to cook these premade dishes. After scanning the QR code on the outer packaging of the microwave oven, the oven automatically recognizes the product name with its cooking method and cooking duration. Then a pre-made dish is put into the microwave oven, and authentic Cantonese dim sum will soon be made.
This smart solution is a combination of an unmanned retail model for premade dishes and smart cooking, which is created by Guangzhou Restaurant in collaboration with Galanz. QR code scanning allows Galanz microwave ovens to identify related information for dishes and intelligently match the best cooking time and firepower heat, so that users can cook and enjoy delicious food soon with one push button. According to the person in charge of Galanz, new microwave ovens can be remotely controlled to meet the intelligent cooking needs of prepared dishes in different scenarios, such as central kitchens, convenience stores, airports, high-speed railway stations, campuses and office areas.
Zhanjiang Guolian Aquatic Products Co., Ltd brought their new products of grilled fish and crayfish to the exhibition hall. Xie Yebin, director of the brand operation center in the company, said that the China Brand Day only exhibits Chinese brands but they are open to the global market. The event serves as a window for companies to "enable the world to observe, understand and witness the development of Chinese brand". The company has already sold its branded products to more than 40 countries and regions around the world, giving the world "a taste of China".
Present Chenpi from Xinhui and Dancong tea from Chaozhou to the world
Chenpi (sun-dried mandarin orange peel), once viral for a hot Chinese criminal drama called The Knockout, is also shown at the event. "As long as you scan the QR code on the box, the specific information for every kind of Chenpi, including the production area, soil, age, type, year and other information can be seen on the screen, providing each piece with an ID card," the director of Tangerine Peel Village Wu Guorong introduced.
Wu added that biological pest control technology and a big data storage system were established by their specialized cooperative cooperating with citrus farmers and several standard processing patent technologies developed together with the Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, which enables a new way to trace Chenpi products from Xinhui. "Brand serves as the mainstay of an enterprise. Now the brand of Chenpi Village from the Greater Bay Area is both national and global on a ten-year basis. For example, our products can be seen in overseas markets such as the United States, Canada and Australia."
"To my surprise, the sweet aftertaste of the tea could be so strong", exclaimed Ms. Chen, a citizen who came to see the exhibition. In front of the booth of Phoenix single-bush tea brought by a time-honored brand Hongteng Tea Industry, many exhibitors and citizens savored the tea from Phoenix Mountain in Chaozhou. The person in charge introduced that their brand of this kind once won many honors such as gold medals in both the competition for spring tea in Guangdong and the 12th International Tea Evaluation.
预制菜无人零售、智能烹饪……“舌尖上的广东”闪耀中国品牌日
2023中国品牌日活动在上海举办,将持续至5月14日。走进上海世博展览馆,新会陈皮村的展台前人头涌涌,潮州单丛茶吸引了不少茶客,粤式虾饺和豉汁排骨让人食指大动,共同呈现一场“舌尖上的广东”。
广东预制菜走进“新食代”
在广东展馆内,中华老字号企业广州酒家带来了4款广式速冻点心:豉汁排骨、粤式虾饺、烧麦和凤爪。粤菜师傅现场为大家展示:在微波炉前扫一扫外包装上的条形码,微波炉就会自动识别出产品名和烹饪方式、时长,然后把预制菜放进微波炉内,很快,一份正宗的广式点心就出炉了。
这是广州酒家与格兰仕合作打造的“预制菜无人零售+智能烹饪解决方案”。感应到产品包装上的条形码,格兰仕预制菜微波炉就能识别菜品等信息,并智能匹配最佳烹饪时间与火力,用户一键即烹即享美味。格兰仕相关负责人介绍,预制菜微波炉实现远程控制,满足中央厨房、便利店、机场、高铁站、校园、办公区等不同场景下的预制菜智能烹饪需求。
国联水产在展馆内带来了新品烤鱼和小龙虾。国联水产品牌运营中心总监谢晔斌表示,品牌日是中国的,但品牌是全球化的,中国品牌日为企业提供了一个“让世界观察、了解、看见中国品牌发展”的窗口。他们已经将其品牌产品销往全球40多个国家和地区,让世界尝到“中国味”。
新会陈皮、潮州单丛走向世界
热播电视剧《狂飙》再次带火的陈皮,也来到了上海世博展览馆。“扫一扫包装盒上的二维码,你能看到这款陈皮的具体信息,包括产区、土壤、树龄、品类、年份等信息,让每片陈皮都有身份证。”陈皮村“村长”吴国荣向记者介绍。
吴国荣表示,陈皮村通过成立新会柑种植专业合作社,和广东省农科院研发多项标准加工专利技术,建立生物防虫技术与大数据仓储系统,并将溯源概念带进新会陈皮产品。“品牌是企业的支柱,经过十年积累,陈皮村这个品牌不仅从大湾区走向全中国,也走向了全世界,美国、加拿大、澳大利亚,都有我们陈皮村的陈皮。”
“没想到茶叶的回甘能这么香”,前来观展的市民陈女士感叹道。在潮州老字号红腾茶业带来的凤凰单丛茶展台前,不少参展商和市民细细品味来自潮州凤凰山的茶韵。相关负责人介绍,这款单丛茶荣获广东春季名优茶评比金奖、第十二届国际名茶评比金奖等多项荣誉。
