On April 15th, the 133rd China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, officially kicked off, attracting a massive crowd of exhibitors and buyers.
After overcoming numerous challenges and embracing innovation, this year's Canton Fair has fully restored its offline exhibition with a new venue that spans over 100,000 square meters, drawing over 200 countries and regions' buyers and nearly 35,000 offline participating companies. The exhibition area and the number of participating enterprises have both hit historic highs.
As the largest Canton Fair in history and the first to fully restore offline exhibitions following the Class B management policy for pandemic prevention and control, the importance of the 133rd Canton Fair cannot be overstated.
On the same day as the Canton Fair opening, the third China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) across the Qiongzhou Strait is also coming to a close. These two major exhibitions are held in rapid succession, and the national-level exhibition system is attracting and sending a powerful message of openness and cooperation to the world.
Similarly, in Guangzhou, since the first quarter, professional brand exhibitions such as Dental South China, Guangzhou Design Week, and SIAF have taken turns in action, with each exhibition attracting countless participants.
According to data from the Guangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau, in the first quarter, Guangzhou's key professional exhibition halls hosted 56 exhibitions, with the number of exhibition sessions, exhibition areas, and visitor numbers respectively 2.8 times, 2.35 times, and 4.09 times that of the same period in 2022, with a year-on-year growth of 75%, 26%, and 38.4% over the same period in 2021.
Currently, the service guarantee work around transportation, catering, accommodation, and other aspects during the Canton Fair is ready. During the exhibition period, the temporary opening of the Pazhou Hong Kong-Macao passenger terminal will provide direct routes from Pazhou to Hong Kong International Airport and Hong Kong downtown.
第133届广交会开幕,向世界释放开放合作新信号
万商云集,盛会重启。4月15日,第133届中国进出口商品交易会(以下简称“广交会”)正式开展,现场人山人海,不少参展商采购商都为之感叹。
历经挑战与创新,本届广交会全面恢复线下办展,面积达10万平方米的新场馆,吸引200多个国家和地区的采购商,近3.5万家企业线下参展,展览的面积和参展企业的数量均创历史新高。
第133届广交会,是历史上规模最大的一届广交会,同时也是疫情防控实施“乙类乙管”政策后全面恢复线下办展的一届广交会,其重要性不言而喻。
4月15日,第133届广交会正式开展,千年商都万众瞩目。在广交会开展的同一天,在琼州海峡对岸的第三届中国国际消费品博览会(以下简称“消博会”)也即将落下帷幕。两大展会“无缝衔接”,国家级“会展矩阵”正以强大的“磁力”向世界释放着开放合作的新信号。
同样在广州,一季度以来,华南口腔展、涂料展、家博会、设计周、定制家居展、广州智能制造系列工业展、印刷展、包装展等专业品牌展会轮番上演,每一场展会现场都摩肩接踵,好不热闹。
广州市商务局数据显示,一季度,广州市重点专业展馆举办展会56场,展览场次、展览面积、参展观展人次分别是2022年同期的2.8倍、2.35倍、4.09倍,比2021年同期分别增长75%、26%、38.4%。
目前,围绕广交会期间交通、餐饮、住宿等各方面的服务保障工作已准备就绪。展会期间,琶洲港澳客运码头临时对外开放,开通琶洲至香港国际机场和香港市区直达航线。
