The 133rd China Import and Export Fair is approaching, and businessmen from all over the world have arrived in Guangzhou for the exhibition. On April 3rd, Zhou Gaofeng, a taxi driver from Guangzhou Ru Yue Transportation Group Baiyun branch , received a thank-you letter from the Israel Chamber of Commerce (South China) for finding and returning an Israeli passenger's passport and cash promptly.
On March 6th at 16:25, Zhou was finding passengers near Huanshi East Road in the rush hour and soon picked up an Israeli passenger to Pazhou. The passenger sat in the front seat to handle official business with the suitcase in the back seat. When getting off, the passenger did not notice that a small bag was left in the corner beside the seat and neither did Zhou, so he drove away.
As usual, Zhou would tidy up the car after an order, and that was how he found the small bag under the front seat. Zhou realized that it belongs to the foreign passenger, so he reported this to the fleet at once. Under the guidance of the fleet's administrator, Zhou opened the bag and found a large amount of euros as well as important items such as a passport.
As a result, Zhou was assured that the item belongs to the Israeli passenger. He immediately drove back to the drop-off location, but the passenger had already left. Zhou let the administrator know that he would stop finding passengers to wait for the owner, and he also asked the administrator to help find the owner, hoping to return the belongings as soon as possible.
At the same time, the Israeli passenger sought help from the Israeli Chamber of Commerce (IsCham) once finding the small bag left in the taxi. The staff of IsCham (South China) dialed the lost and found hotline 96122 of the taxi company with details provided by the passenger. The dispatch center quickly searched the system and found the information about the lost property reported by the fleet.
With the help of the dispatch center, Zhou successfully contacted the Israeli passenger and handed over the small bag to the owner personally. "My passport is my ID card in China. I was very anxious after losing it. Thank you to the driver and everyone who helped me for the efforts!" said the passenger.
拾金不昧！以色列商会为广州“的哥”点赞
第133届广交会线下展会开幕在即，近日，广州迎来世界各地的客商。4月3日，广州如约出行集团白云公司“的哥”周高峰收到了一封来自以色列商会（华南地区）的感谢信，感谢广州出租车司机周高峰拾获以色列乘客的护照和现金并火速送回。
时间回到3月6日16时25分，当天正值下班高峰时段，周高峰在环市东路附近候客，不久便接载到一位以色列国籍的外国乘客前往琶洲。外国乘客将行李箱放在后排座位上，便坐到副驾驶位上处理公事。乘客下车时，将一个小包遗失在副驾驶位角落处没有察觉，周高峰随后也驾车离开。
和往常一样，周高峰接载完乘客后，都会对车内进行简单的收拾。整理车厢时，前排座位下的一个小包引起了他的注意。周高峰意识到这是乘客遗失的物品，便立即拨通了车队的电话进行失物报备。在车队管理员的指引下，周高峰打开了小包，发现包内有大量的欧元现金以及护照等重要物品。
周高峰确定是那位外国乘客的物品。于是，他立刻驾车回到外国乘客的下车地点，但乘客早已离去。周高峰再次拨通了车队管理员的电话，表示自己会暂停营运，尝试在乘客下车点守候失主，请车队管理员帮忙寻找失主，希望尽力将物品早日归还。
另一边，以色列乘客发现随身的小包丢失在出租车上，便向以色列商会求助。以色列商会（华南地区）工作人员通过求助人提供的线索，拨打了接乘的出租车公司96122调度服务中心的电话报失，调度服务中心迅速在系统上查找，找到了由车队上报拾获的以色列乘客失物的信息。
在96122调度服务中心帮助下，周高峰与以色列乘客取得了联系，亲手将小包完好无损地交到了失主手中。 “护照就是我在中国的身份证，遗失后我焦急万分，非常感谢司机，谢谢你们为我做的工作和努力！” 以色列乘客表示。
