New progress has been made in the policy of Macao motor vehicles entering and leaving the mainland through the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Zhuhai Highway port.

Starting from 2 pm on December 20, Macao private car owners can submit their application to enter Guangdong. And the successful applicants can drive their cars to Guangdong from midnight of January 1, 2023. It is expected that about 80,000 Macao residents will benefit from this policy.

In addition, the Guangdong Provincial Government is working with the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to work out the implementation details of the"Hong Kong Cars Entering Mainland" policy with the approval ofthe State Council of China.

In light of the epidemic prevention and control requirements of Guangdong and Hong Kong and other comprehensive factors, the Guangdong Provincial Government plans to release detailed arrangements in the first quarter of 2023 and implement the policy within the year.

12月20日14时开始接受“澳车北上”澳门私家车申请，明年1月1日零时起，“澳车北上”澳门私家车将可正式入境广东，预计约8万澳门私家车车主可享受该政策红利。

此外，广东省政府正会同香港特别行政区政府，按照国务院批复要求商定“港车北上”政策的实施安排细节，并将根据粤港两地疫情防控要求等综合因素，计划于2023年首季争取公布详细安排，并于当年内实施。
