Huiyang Peninsular Grand Bridge, the first full steel structure bridge in Huizhou, opened to trafficon October 31. The bridge will greatly improve the north-south traffic capacity of Huiyang. Since Huiyang is the hometown of the guitar and is known for its stunning aerial view, the whole bridge looks like a guitar. It has become another distinctive geographical and cultural symbol in Huiyang.

10月31日，惠阳半岛桥正式通车，此为惠州首座全钢结构特大桥，通车后将大大提高惠阳区的南北纵向交通通行能力。惠阳是著名的“吉他之乡”，此次半岛桥在设计上结合了与其毗邻的惠阳体育会展中心、酒店的造型，从航拍视角看，整体构成了正在演奏的吉他，为惠阳又一特色地理文化标志。
