Luo Qi is the vice president of the Guangzhou Painting Academy and vice chairman of the Guangdong Artists Association. His studio is located at the Guangzhou Literature and Art Center in the center of Guangzhou University City in Xiaoguwei. The studio overlooks lakes and mountains where the weeds he loves to paint can be seen everywhere. When asked why he had chosen weeds for painting, Luo Qi said he came from the grassroots and had some kind of affinity to common and silent weeds. By coming close to it, he feels quiet just like looking at himself. #artandculture
