At the construction site of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, the core transport hub of the Greater Bay Area, two main cables with a length of about 3 km were erectedon September 23. The cables leaped over the east and west main towers of the Lingdingyang Bridge, crossed the 1666m wide water surface, and their ends were firmly anchored on the million-ton sea anchorage. The bridge construction had made breakthrough progress.

在粤港澳大湾区核心交通枢纽——深中通道的建设现场，两根长约3公里的主缆，从伶仃洋大桥东、西两座主塔上方一跃而过，跨越1666米的宽阔水面，两端在百万吨海中锚碇上牢牢锚定。9月23日，广东省交通集团发布消息，深中通道伶仃洋大桥主缆索股完成架设，大桥建设取得突破性进展，接下来将转入紧缆、索夹和吊索安装阶段。
