An exhibition of Chinese painting and calligraphy dating back to the Song and Yuan dynasties (960-1368) is currently held at the Guangdong Museum. These treasures, either hold by connoisseurs in Lingnan or in cultural institutions and museums in Guangdong, have forged an indissoluble bond with Lingnan. Behind them lies the long history of Lingnan culture, which also shows the status and outstanding contribution of the Lingnan collection in the country.

正在广东省博物馆展出的“绘冠南天——粤藏宋元书画特展”，展示了一批宋元书画珍品，引得不少文博界学者、收藏家后人以及大批观众前来探究。这些珍品，或曾经珍藏于岭南的鉴藏家手中，或现存于广东的文博机构，与岭南结下了不解的情缘。它们的背后，是岭南文脉的源远流长，亦可见粤藏在全国占有的一席之地以及突出贡献。
