During the Mid-Autumn Festival, every family in Guangzhou ties lanterns to trees with bamboo sticks. After the 15th day of the seventh lunar month every year, the house of Lu Yanhong, a lantern-making craftsman, gradually becomes lively. Until 8 p.m. on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, people knock on her door to buy lanterns. Aunt Hong has been engaged in making Cantonese lanterns for more than 20 years, just because she always recalls her master's commission: "We should pass on the craftsmanship of making lanterns and let more young people know about this Chinese traditional handicraft."

中秋节，在广州各家用竹条扎灯笼挂在树上，每年农历七月十五刚过，手扎灯笼匠人陆燕红的家就逐渐热闹起来，直到八月十五晚上八点多，都还有人来敲门买灯笼。红姨扎了二十余年的广式灯笼，只因始终惦记着师傅的一句嘱托：“要将扎作传承下去，让年轻人知道这门传统技艺。”
