On July 2, the 13th Guangzhou Workers Lion Dance Competition was successfully held. There were 31 participating teams, providing a visual feast for the audience. Even the heavy rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of the audience. It is reported that the “Guangzhou Lion Dance” has been included in the 8th batch of representative projects of intangible cultural heritage of Guangdong Province. This competition aims to promote the construction of a Cultured Bay Area and pass on the lion dance culture. #artandculture

7月2日，“第十三届广州市工人龙狮表演大赛”隆重举行。本届大赛总共有31支龙狮队伍参与竞演，为观众奉上了一场视觉盛宴。尽管当天风雨交加，也无法阻挡观众的热情。据悉，“狮舞（广州醒狮）”于今年4月列入广东省第八批省级非物质文化遗产代表性项目名录，本次比赛旨在推动人文湾区建设以及传承醒狮文化。
